We are a growing Singapore-based financial institution specialising in Accounts Receivable Purchase (ARP), asset-based lending, working capital, supply chain financing, leasing/hire purchase, and other structured financing solutions for SMEs. Our mission is to help businesses optimise their cash flow and working capital through efficient and flexible financing options.

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on facilitating the evolution of our core applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong product management skills and experience in quality assurance testing, ensuring that the final product meets both business requirements and user expectations. 

Responsibilities :

Project Facilitation 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the region, including developers, product owners, vendors, and stakeholders, to define project scope, requirements and objectives. 
• Conduct requirement-gathering sessions to elicit detailed business requirements and translate them into functional user specifications. 
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including user requirements, specifications, user stories, process flows and use cases. 

Product Development and Management 

• Assist and work with other Product Owners in the creation of the sprint planning and backlog and prioritize features based on business value and objectives. 
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify business and market needs and ensure alignment with organisational goals. 
• Monitor project progress and coordinate releases, ensuring timely delivery of sprint milestones and post go-live support. 
• Take part in Sprint reviews and retrospectives to improve development processes and system capabilities. 
• Support automation and digitalisation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency

Quality Assurance Testing

• Assist in developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and functional specifications. 
• Conduct and coordinate functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure application or sprint quality. 
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution of defects

User Support & Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate with application support teams and vendors to provide timely support to users, addressing issues, queries, and enhancements.
• Ensure standardisation of processes and identify opportunities to enhance system functionalities.
• Prepare training documentation and conduct user training where required.
• Stay informed on system updates and advise stakeholders on relevant enhancements and features

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field 
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects, preferably in the  finance sector
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and business processes. 
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Familiarity with project management tools (JIRA, GitHub, or similar)  
• Familiarity with QA testing tools coupled with CI/CD processes
• Understands and has the ability to communicate on API workflows and connectivity
• Excellent practitioner of generative A.I. A.I. Agents, toolbelts, and MCP is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and laser-focused on completing objectives. 
• Excellent Team player with the ability to work independently when required
• Willing to commit to a 1-year contract role

The Consultants are required to proactively interact with their own team and Global Unified Support, to resolve customer issues by providing the best suited solutions and to build customer satisfaction. They are expected to cooperatively engage and focus to commit towards the defined SLA, MBO and KPI targets to provide the “Moment of Service’ for IFS customers by being effective and efficient.  

As a consultant – Business Applications, you will be responsible for core activities including; 

• Applies sound industry and cross-product knowledge to solve customer issues of medium complexity.   

• Demonstrates deep knowledge of IFS processes and tools.   

• Ensures quality service delivery, partners on team goals, and manages timely resolutions within SLA/OLA standards   

• Takes initiatives to meet team goals and ensures efficient issue resolution.   

• Executes planned maintenance and improves customer satisfaction   

• Ensures meaningful and professional communication, meeting customer expectations.   

• Assists in training colleagues on domain-specific knowledge and tools.   

• Actively participates in knowledge-distribution activities and addresses documentation gaps   

• Expands internal and external networks, acting as a reference point within the team.   

• Takes on additional obligations and contributes to business development events.   

• Identifies opportunities for process enhancements and proposes improvements.
