Protective Security Consultant

Job Description
We are seeking a Physical Security Consultant to support a range of protective security projects, including Security‑by‑Design (SBD) work required under the Infrastructure Protection Act, as well as broader security design, planning, and risk assessment engagements. This role involves leading security risk assessments, developing security master plans, providing technical design specifications, and managing stakeholder relationships with client.
Key Responsibilities

• Leading Security-by-Design (SBD) and IPA Compliance Work
• Preparing SBD reports, documentation, and regulatory submissions.
• Conduct preliminary research on protective security requirements for various project types.
• Act as the subject matter expert (SME) in applying security-by-design principles to architectural, structural, and mechanical/electrical (M&E) drawings during early project stages.
• Develop comprehensive physical and electronic security concepts (CCTV, access control, perimeter barriers) for critical infrastructure
• Oversee the integration of electronic security systems with building management systems
• Preparing design briefs, technical specifications, layout reviews, and integration plans for systems such as access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and protective barriers.
• Review architectural, structural, and M&E drawings to identify security considerations and integration needs.

Risk & Vulnerability Assessment:

• Conducts Threat Vulnerability and Risk Assessments (TVRA) to produce risk registers and identify security weaknesses.
• Protective Security Design: Develops physical and electronic security concepts, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems, preparing design briefs and technical specifications.

Strategic Advisory:

• Provides high-level security advice and policy writing, covering security operations, personnel security, and security intelligence.
• Compliance & Audit: Reviews architectural plans and ensures security measures meet regulatory requirements.
• Project Management & Coordination: Liaises with clients and project teams to implement security plans, often integrating security into multi-disciplinary projects.
• Project Coordination & Technical Support
• Track project deliverables, prepare meeting minutes, and maintain organised project documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, operators, and security system vendors.
• Assist in tender evaluations, proposal reviews, and solution comparisons.

Legal professional with min 5 years of experience either as an in-house counsel or with renowned law firms. The role will involve supporting the business through drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, assisting in regulatory compliance, handling consumer litigation, legal documentation, dealing with investigating authorities and providing day-to-day legal support to cross-functional teams.

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements including vendor agreements, service agreements, API integration agreements, marketing agreements, NDAs, MoUs etc.

• Support onboarding of operators, suppliers, service providers for OTA business from a legal and documentation perspective.

• Assist in maintaining and updating platform legal documents such as User Agreement, Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Refund/Cancellation policies, Marketing Campaign, etc.

• Provide legal support to internal teams including Business, Marketing, Product, Finance, Human Resource, Administration, and Operations.

• Draft replies to legal notices and assist in handling consumer or vendor disputes.

• Coordinate with external counsel for litigation and other legal proceedings when required.

• Maintain contract trackers, legal documentation records, and dispute trackers.

• Assist in reviewing marketing campaigns and promotional activities for legal compliance.

• Handling consumer litigation and dealing with investigating authorities;

• Monitor compliance under applicable laws.

• Monitor changes in legislation and regulations and assist in impact analysis.

Qualification

• Law graduate (LLB) with minimum 5-7 years of experience in legal function either at a law firm or as in house counsel.

• Strong knowledge of the applicable laws for ixigo such as the Consumer Protection Act, Guidelines for e-commerce companies, dark pattern guidelines, Cyber Laws, DPDP Act, Rules, GDPR etc.

• Law graduate - LLB

• Excellent drafting, communication, and coordination skills; and

• High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (Civil) with 8–10 years of relevant experience, primarily in airport and commercial construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, contract management, billing, and overall commercial control of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for civil works.
• Review drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure accuracy.
• Manage project budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Handle client billing, subcontractor billing, and certification processes.
• Monitor project progress and track variations/changes in scope.
• Prepare and evaluate tenders and contract documents.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors for commercial matters.
• Conduct rate analysis and cost benchmarking.
• Support in claims management and dispute resolution.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in airport and commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, estimation, and billing processes.
• Familiarity with contract management (FIDIC or similar standards preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software/tools.
• Good understanding of construction methodologies and materials.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in large-scale infrastructure or airport projects.

Technical Expertise:

The Draughtsperson shall be capable of preparation of drawings of structural elements,
equipment structures (Pole structures), covering GIS substation / control room buildings, GIS
Buildings (RCC & Steel), transformer foundations, outdoor equipment foundations, guard
house, staff quarters, grading, roads and drainage, cable trench, outdoor steel structures and
miscellaneous works related to the substations and cabling works. Draughtsperson shall be able
to review Vendor engineering drawings (layouts, fabrication drawings) with respect to Civil &
Structural. Knowledge of switchyard gantry towers, equipment supporting structures &
foundations. Familiarization with Detailed engineering of pre-engineered buildings.
