Legal professional with min 5 years of experience either as an in-house counsel or with renowned law firms. The role will involve supporting the business through drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, assisting in regulatory compliance, handling consumer litigation, legal documentation, dealing with investigating authorities and providing day-to-day legal support to cross-functional teams.

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements including vendor agreements, service agreements, API integration agreements, marketing agreements, NDAs, MoUs etc.

• Support onboarding of operators, suppliers, service providers for OTA business from a legal and documentation perspective.

• Assist in maintaining and updating platform legal documents such as User Agreement, Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Refund/Cancellation policies, Marketing Campaign, etc.

• Provide legal support to internal teams including Business, Marketing, Product, Finance, Human Resource, Administration, and Operations.

• Draft replies to legal notices and assist in handling consumer or vendor disputes.

• Coordinate with external counsel for litigation and other legal proceedings when required.

• Maintain contract trackers, legal documentation records, and dispute trackers.

• Assist in reviewing marketing campaigns and promotional activities for legal compliance.

• Handling consumer litigation and dealing with investigating authorities;

• Monitor compliance under applicable laws.

• Monitor changes in legislation and regulations and assist in impact analysis.

Qualification

• Law graduate (LLB) with minimum 5-7 years of experience in legal function either at a law firm or as in house counsel.

• Strong knowledge of the applicable laws for ixigo such as the Consumer Protection Act, Guidelines for e-commerce companies, dark pattern guidelines, Cyber Laws, DPDP Act, Rules, GDPR etc.

• Law graduate - LLB

• Excellent drafting, communication, and coordination skills; and

• High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

Roles & Responsibilities -:

• Handling proactive escalations & pending customer complaints for all the LOBs - Flights, Trains, Buses, Hotels and offering quick resolutions.
• Working on backend processes such as airline cancellation, refunds and re-issuances.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to raise recurring issues and follow up for fixes. 
• Working closely with the airline partners & sharing feedback on ongoing issues at the providers’ end.
• Being a part of process pilots, experiments and new projects that provide insights to all cross-functions.

Roles & Responsibility

• Planning, Execution & preparation of monthly / quarterly / annual MIS and financial schedules within strict timelines and with accuracy.

• Support and preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements as per IND AS quarterly and annually.

• Preparation and finalization of quarterly SEBI financial results while proactively monitoring and advising management on the strategic impact of emerging Ind AS, IFRS, and SEBI regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• CA with 3-5 years of relevant experience

About the Role

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and data-savvy Category Manager – Hotels to join our high-performing Growth Team. This role will be key in scaling ixigo’s Hotels vertical by identifying growth opportunities, optimizing category performance, and driving measurable business impact through data, experimentation, and deep customer understanding.

In this role, you are expected to own the growth strategy for the Hotels category—working on expansion, pricing, and product-market fit across user segments and geographies, whilst driving the P&L and the end-to-end performance of hotel supply & demand. You will operate at the intersection of business, product, and marketing—owning high-impact initiatives that directly influence key metrics like conversions, revenue, retention, and margins.

What You Will Do

• Drive Category Growth: Own the key growth metrics: Attachment Rate (Train-to-Hotel cross-sell), New User Acquisition, and Conversion Rate. Identify category growth levers through user behavior analysis, funnel diagnostics, A/B experimentation, and competitor benchmarking.

• Crack the Cross-Sell: Deeply understand the behavior of the Tier 2/Tier 3 train traveler. Design specific pricing, bundling, and merchandising strategies to make booking a hotel an automatic "next step" after booking a train.

• Funnel Optimization: Analyze the user journey from "Search" to "Payment." Identify drop-off points and work with Product teams to run A/B tests that improve conversion.

• Campaign Management: Collaborate with the Marketing team to run tactical campaigns (e.g., flash sales, seasonal offers) that drive sudden spikes in demand.

• Supply Feedback Loop: You represent the demand side. You will guide the Supply team on what to source based on user search data 

• Pricing Strategy: Implement dynamic pricing and couponing to maximize GMV while controlling Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC).

• Drive internal synergies: Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Tech teams to optimize end-to-end user journeys for hotel discovery, booking, and post-booking experiences.

• Conceptualize and execute growth experiments: Understand consumer insights, travel trends, seasonality, and user demand shifts to envision and drive growth campaigns and GTM strategies.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; comfort working with numbers, dashboards, and tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and BI platforms. (SQL knowledge is a bonus.) coupled with a strong analytical and commercial orientation.

• Important to possess Advanced Excel / SQL / data analysis capabilities Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with measurable impact on growth KPIs (e.g., conversion rate, CAC, GMV).

• Experience with pricing, deals, or supply-side roles preferred.
