About the role

We are seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to provide on-site administrative support. We need help to support our doctors and patients who are using DA’s 24/7 tele-consultation service. This will predominantly be a hands-on, operational role.

Your role as an assistant will be to help us maintain our promise of delivery standards and quality to our patients by preparing the medications at the fulfillment center for delivery, as well as assisting in troubleshooting operational matters that may arise in the process.

• Organize and lead other assistants on a rotational basis in daily operations
• Processing prescriptions electronically
• Preparing and arranging the medications for delivery
• Working closely with our operations team and delivery partners to ensure that medications are delivered smoothly and on time
• Assist the manager or executives in managing and maintaining the inventory
• Maintaining facilities and equipment as assigned by the manager
• Participate in improvement projects to enhance and optimize the quality of the service
• To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Able to work on a shift basis, including overnight shifts (shift allowance will be provided for overnight shifts), weekends and public holidays
• Familiar with medication with prior experience working in a pharmacy/clinic/warehouse setting
• Computer literacy; comfortable with managing computer systems
• Attention to detail and meticulousness is a must
• Able to work well in a team and communicate well with others in a high-tempo environment
• You have unquestioned integrity and high standards in the work you do
