Job Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Vision

• Serve as the senior engineering authority reporting to the Executive Director, providing clear, forward‑looking advice on engineering risks, investments, and operational strategy.
• Define and execute a long‑term engineering vision aligned with the Integrated Resort’s business objectives, guest experience, and regulatory obligations.

Operational Reliability & Problem Solving

• Ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operation of all engineering systems, including:

  o   Electrical distribution, generators, UPS, and critical power systems
  o   Fire detection, suppression, smoke control, and life safety systems
  o   Lifts, and escalators
  o   Plumbing, drainage, sewage, pumping, and water systems
• Champion a root cause analysis (RCA) culture to eliminate recurring failures and systemic weaknesses.
• Provide direct leadership during major engineering incidents, system failures, commissioning activities, and recovery efforts.
• Ensure effective use of CCMS for alarm management, trending, fault diagnostics, and system optimization.

Asset Management & Lifecycle Planning

• Own the Integrated Resort’s engineering asset management framework, including asset registers, criticality assessments, and lifecycle planning.
• Develop and maintain 3–5 year asset renewal and replacement strategies, aligned with operational risk, compliance, and business priorities.
• Optimize asset performance and total cost of ownership through condition‑based maintenance, standardization, and technology enablement.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all engineering documentation, including single‑line diagrams, schematics, O&M manuals, sequences of operation, and as‑built records.

OPEX & CAPEX Management

• Lead preparation and management of the Engineering OPEX budget, covering maintenance contracts, utilities, consumables, and outsourced services.
• Develop, justify, and deliver Engineering CAPEX programs, including asset renewals, major upgrades, compliance works, and reliability or efficiency improvements.
• Present clear, data‑driven business cases to the Executive Director, including risk mitigation, lifecycle cost, and return‑on‑investment analysis.
• Maintain strong financial discipline while safeguarding operational reliability and safety.

Vendor & Outsourced Services Management

• Oversee a large and diverse portfolio of outsourced service providers and specialist vendors.
• Establish and enforce strong governance frameworks, including:
  o   Clearly defined scopes of work and SLAs
  o   Performance KPIs and regular vendor reviews
  o   Safety compliance and method statement approvals
  o   Quality, responsiveness, and value delivery
• Build effective partnerships with OEMs and key contractors while maintaining commercial rigor and accountability.   

Design Review, Technical Governance & Projects

• Lead engineering design reviews for new works, refurbishments, system upgrades, and asset replacements.
• Ensure all designs comply with Singapore codes of practice, statutory authority requirements, and fire safety regulations.
• Drive designs that prioritise operational resilience, maintainability, energy efficiency, and lifecycle optimisation.
• Oversee commissioning, integrated systems testing, and operational readiness prior to handover in live environments.

Compliance, Safety & Regulatory Management

• Ensure full compliance with Singapore regulatory authorities and applicable codes (including BCA, SCDF, EMA, PUB, and MOM).
• Own all statutory inspections, testing regimes, certifications, and regulatory audits for engineering systems.
• Champion best‑in‑class safety practices across electrical, mechanical, fire life safety, and contractor works.
• Ensure timely and sustainable closure of all inspection findings and regulatory observations.

People Leadership & Organisational Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop a large multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Establish clear organisational structures, leadership depth, succession planning, and skills development pathways.
• Build a high‑performance culture grounded in accountability, technical excellence, and collaboration.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience

• 15+ years of senior engineering leadership experience in large‑scale, complex environments such as integrated resorts, casinos, hospitality, or mixed‑use developments.
• Strong hands‑on technical expertise across HVAC, electrical, fire & life safety, CCMS/BMS, and vertical transportation systems.
• Proven experience leading large engineering teams and managing extensive outsourced service models.
• In‑depth working knowledge of Singapore codes of practice and statutory compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated success in asset lifecycle management and OPEX/CAPEX governance.

Join a team building the data foundations that support the firm’s AI and analytics capabilities. This role sits within the engineering effort to develop a modern Lakehouse and AI data platform that enables reliable, well-governed and high-performing data use across the firm.

In data engineering roles, the emphasis is on designing, building and maintaining large-scale data platforms, delivering production pipelines, improving reliability and quality, and partnering closely with users of the platform.

This is a delivery-focused role for engineers who want to build robust data assets in production, work with modern data technologies, and grow over time within the firm. Role Summary

As a Data Engineer in the Lakehouse and AI Data Platform team, you will design, build, test and support data pipelines and curated datasets on the firm’s modern data platform. You will work across ingestion, transformation, modelling, optimisation and data quality, helping to deliver data products that are reliable, scalable and fit for purpose.  Where there are gaps in platform functionality, you may also contribute to shared tooling or framework components that improve how the platform is used and operated.

The role is suited to engineers who are comfortable writing code, working with SQL and distributed data processing, and solving practical delivery problems in a team environment. More experienced candidates may also contribute to technical design, platform standards and the shaping of delivery approaches across a wider set of use cases.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Engineering

• Build, enhance and support batch and streaming data pipelines on the Lakehouse and AI data platform.
• Refactor or modernise existing data flows where needed to improve reliability, performance and maintainability.
• Where needed, build reusable tooling to improve delivery, consistency and operational support.
• Ensure data pipelines are production-ready, well tested and operationally supportable.

Data Modelling and Curation

• Develop raw, refined and curated datasets that support analytics, reporting and AI use cases.
• Apply sound data modelling principles to represent business entities, relationships and historical change accurately.
• Work with consumers to shape data products that are usable, well documented and aligned to business needs.

Data Quality and Reconciliation

• Implement controls to validate completeness, accuracy and consistency of data across pipelines and datasets.

1. TechnicalLeadership & Governance

2. ProjectDevelopment – Technical Support and EPC Tendering for Renewable Energy projectsprioritizing Wind

·Oversee energy yield assessments, resource modelling, and sitesuitability analyses.

·Provide clear, decision-ready inputs on land selection, project layouts,grid requirements, and CAPEX estimates. (Renewable Projects, priority Wind)

·Lead technical due diligence for greenfield and acquisitionopportunities for Renewable Energy Projects.

·Provide clear recommendations on project feasibility and risks.

·Prepare tender-ready technical specifications for EPC, BOP/BOS, and equipment procurement.

·Provide EPC/O&M contract scoping and lead contractor evaluation.

·Support, as necessary, the project teams with thereview of various studies including but not limited to, resource assessment,grid impact assessment, transmission route survey, geotechnical, marine andother environmental studies.

 3. Construction - Engineering Review, SupportPlanning and Performance Test for Renewable Energy Projects

·Review and approve engineering deliverables during project execution.

·Strengthen construction planning through improved processes, manuals,and team capability.

·Support construction teams with timely engineering clarifications, issueresolution, and contractor coordination.

4. Operations -Performance & Optimization of Renewable Energy Projects

·Provide technical guidance to resolve operational issues and improveplant availability and reliability of Wind Projects.

·Lead SCADA- and data-driven performance diagnostics. Promoteanalytics-driven decision-making across the asset lifecycle.

·Support O&M on upgrades, lifecycle improvements, and technicalprocurement.

·Conduct operational due diligence and performance reviews for operatingassets.

5. Team Leadership& Collaboration

·Build and lead a high-performing engineering team.

·Strengthen collaboration with Development, Construction, O&M, and Investment teams.

·Enhance knowledge management to support consistent and scalable engineering practices

Job Overview
To act as a Civil and Structural Engineering Technical Director within a multi-disciplined design team, primarily in the development of data centre sites. To provide sound, technical leadership and to ensure project requirements and clients’ specifications are fully met.  Apply initiative and ownership to all areas of responsibility.

Role Requirements:
·      Results orientated individual with strong problem solving, technical realisation and coordination skills.
·     A strong engineering degree (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural engineering, or sufficient suitable experience.
·     Able to demonstrate extensive experience of a wide range of technical areas.
·     Chartered Engineer or equivalent.
·     Technical knowledge in primary discipline and a thorough understanding of Civil and Structural Engineering through all stages of the design process.
·     Relevant experience in civil and structural analysis and design, using the latest tools and software.
·     Provide direction and sound feedback to staff.
·     Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.  You will have proven ability in negotiating positive outcomes, resource planning, motivation and management.
·     Team-builder, able to support the team through training and mentoring.
·     Track record of having worked on a variety of structural engineering design projects and the delivery of small to large scale projects, from concept design through to completion. Able to execute engineering activities within the budget, programme and schedule, whilst maintaining technical integrity.
·     Ability to work in an evolving market where new technologies can be embraced.
·     Contribute to the development and growth of the company by identifying new opportunities and potential areas for growth and improvement and also maintaining and developing existing client relationships.

Roles & Responsibilities:
·      Lead on civil and structural engineering designs and liaise with the Client and both internal and external design teams to ensure successful preparation and delivery on project objectives, including providing technical support.
·      Monitor and address training and development requirements for yourself and your team.
·      Keep up to date with technical developments, national and international standards and legislative requirements related to the discipline.
·      Lead on engineering quality – develop designs and drawings, compile specifications, drawings and relevant contract documents. Maintain the required technical quality of work, ensuring that designs comply with the relevant Codes, Standards, Regulations and Procedures.
·      Identify scope and schedule changes in accordance with the Change Control Process, maintain planning and cost control on all scopes.
·      Represents the team/group/profession/discipline at external meetings.
·      Consideration in the development of designs of sustainability and safety.
·      Provide leadership to the designs team to ensure successful preparation and delivery on project objectives and work collaboratively with other disciplines.
·      Develop the business within the region, including leading on recruitment. Identify new markets and actively engage in building design teams around them.
·      In addition, is responsible for one or more of the following:

▪  Responsible for predicting and planning future resources, which may include setting up project plans
▪  Responsible for the design/ delivery of events, activities, processes, and /or projects which have a major impact on the management of the business, allocates tasks and coordinates activities

• Lead project electrical phases: feasibility, detailed design, procurement, onsite construction supervision, and commissioning handover.

• Responsibilities will include Utility Power Applications, negotiating, updating and ensure contract obligations with Utility Authority.

• Design and validate power systems: switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, PDUs, earthing, lighting, and EPMS/DCIM systems.

• Conduct load assessments, short-circuit studies, voltage drop and cable sizing. Generate single-line diagrams, equipment specs, and technical reports.

• Supervise site installations; perform inspections to ensure conformance with approved design, safety codes, and project schedule.

• Develop and oversee complex commissioning and functional testing procedures—include performance and failure-mode tests, pre-functional checklists, and comprehensive Cx reports.

• Manage Consultant and Architect through RFIs, change orders, submittals, progress reports, documentation control, and proper turnover protocols.

• Serve as liaison between client, contractors, vendors, and consultants; ensure electrical works meet design intent and contractual obligations.

• Monitor energy efficiency goals and recommend optimizations in alignment with sustainability targets.

• Assist in site commissioning training and handover to operations teams, supporting operations readiness

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; relevant additional experience may substitute.

• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience, with at least 3–5 years in data center or mission-critical construction roles.

• Preferably, has experience the entire build cycle of data center facility in country such as Malaysia or Thailand.

• Proficient in design, modeling & drafting tools: AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, Bluebeam, and similar software.

• Strong technical knowledge — UPS, switchgear, generators, EPMS/DCIM, load studies, and grounding systems.

• Capable communicator, able to drive coordination across stakeholders and lead site-based operations meetings with clarity.

• Certifications: Professional Engineer (BEM Malaysia), PMP, or other recognized credentials.

• Experience with BIM-based design and MEPF coordination in data center projects.

• Familiarity with standards: TIA 942, Uptime Institute tier certifications, IEC, local Malaysian codes.

• Prior knowledge of energy-efficient strategies or green data center deployments in Malaysia or Thailand.
