Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 15+ years of experience managing technical hardware projects.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional, multi-company project-based initiatives from start to finish.
• Work independently to manage projects, resolve tactical issues, and ensure engineering teams meet deliverables, while providing clear status updates and calling out key issues effectively.
• This position may require up to 25% travel.

• 7+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional hardware development programs.

Responsibilities:

• Overall in charge of engineering project management for the assigned projects
• Manage and deliver the engineering deliverables within budget and schedule.
• Engineering configuration management
• To perform engineering detail design and to develop solutions to resolve engineering related issues for shipbuilding project that ensure solution are in accordance with contractual specifications and marine classification requirement.
• Lead and manage an integrated project engineering team of basic and detail design engineers consisting of ship’s Hull structural, outfitting, electrical and marine engineers
• Lead and manage design review meetings, integration efforts and produce engineering and production drawing that is compliance with contract specifications and in accordance to the requirement stated in marine classification rules.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in an Engineering related field with at least 8 years’ experience in ship design and engineering projects
• Experience in ship detail design such as Structural, Marine, Electrical, HVAC, and Piping
• Deep Knowledge and experience of Marine Vessel Detail and Production designs
• Familiar with design software, CAD/CAM, AI tools
• Familiarity with standards applicable to engineering disciplines and familiar with Marine Classification rules, statutory and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead a team of engineers, set goals and development targets for the engineers within managed team and support the team with feedback and development plans as they progress;

2. Work closely with Product Managers to analysis the product requirements and then produce the technique solutions & execution plan to deliver the software products;

3. Hands-on design, implement and deliver software functions;

4. Analyze and validate the technique design for the software functions from the team;

5. Review code from team members and ensure the standards;

6. Engage with the Product Manager into building a backlog that continuously contributes to the execution of the roadmap;

7. Contributing to the hiring, training and development of the engineers within the managed team.

8. Assure the collaboration between your team and other teams including local/global engineering teams, infrastructure teams, and product manager teams.

Who you are

7. Familiar with HTTP, TCP / IP protocol and REST specifications;

8. Master Gradle / Maven and other build tools;

9. Familiar with the use of Docker cluster;

10. Familiar with JSON & XML.

• Possess a recognized degree by PEB in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with at least ten years of relevant experience in building projects.
• Lead the M&E team in various tenders and project management activities.
• Prepare project budget and site work programs.
• Perform project, workforce and material planning.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers and contractors.
• Involve in M&E engineering works to support planning department.
• Assist the Project Manager in all M&E matters.
