JOB SUMMARY

This role encompasses all facets of fund accounting and operations. You will provide support and ensure smooth day-to-day fund and client portfolio accounting. You should possess at least 2 years of fund accounting or relevant work experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the full spectrum of fund accounting operations, including NAV review, performance reporting, investor subscriptions and redemptions, and annual regulatory reporting.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including fund administrators, transfer agents, custodians, brokers, banks, auditors, tax advisors, and internal teams.
• Prepare periodic fund valuation reports, performance analyses, and dashboards using MS Excel.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of fund trades, settlements, and related instructions.
• Generate monthly investment reports and client portfolio statements using Addepar.
• Support annual audits, regulatory filings, and compliance-related matters.
• Respond to client queries and support ad hoc requests in a timely and professional manner.

REQUIREMENTS  

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline; ACCA/CPA qualifications or progress towards certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in fund accounting, fund administration, or the financial services industry (candidates with more experience may be considered for senior roles).
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with private equity, structured products, and hedge funds will be an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Excel (e.g., INDEX/MATCH, IF functions; knowledge of PivotTables or VBA is a plus)

• Moderate level working knowledge of ITIL processes.

For Patch management, focus is on the following –

Patch Management Lifecycle 

   - Monitoring & Identification

     - Track vendor releases (Microsoft,Linux, third-party apps).  

     - Monitor security bulletins (e.g., CVE,NVD, vendor advisories).  

   - Assessment & Prioritization

     - Evaluate patches for severity(Critical, High, Medium, Low).  

     - Check compatibility with existing systems.  

   - Testing & Validation 

     - Deploy patches in a staging/test environment.  

     - Verify stability and functionality post-patch.  

   - Approval & Scheduling  

     - Coordinate with stakeholders (IT,Security, Business Units).  

     - Plan deployment during maintenance windows.  

Patch Deployment & Automation 

   - Use tools like:  

     - WSUS/SCCM (Windows)  

     - Ansible/Puppet/Chef(Linux/Cross-platform)  

     - Ivanti/Ninja RMM (Enterprise patch management)  

   - Automate patch rollouts where possible. 

   - Handle manual patching for legacy/critical systems.  

Compliance & Reporting  

   - Ensure systems meet regulatory requirements(e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA, NIST).  

   - Generate patch compliance reports (missing patches, success/failure rates).  

   - Maintain audit trails for compliance checks. 

Troubleshooting & Remediation  

   - Investigate failed patch deployments.  

   - Resolve conflicts (e.g., software dependencies, reboot issues).  

   - Roll back problematic patches if needed. 

Vulnerability Management Coordination  

   - Work with Security/GRC teams to align patching with vulnerability scans (Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS).  

   - Prioritize patching based on risk exposure

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily ocean freight import and export operations.
• Process shipment orders, invoices, delivery notes, and maintain accurate operational records.
• Coordinate with overseas offices, customers, carriers, and vendors to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve operational issues proactively to minimize delays and demurrage exposure.
• Ensure timely customs clearance, permit declarations, and cargo delivery.
• Accrue operational costs and verify vendor invoices accurately.
• Lead and support the operations team to achieve service excellence and operational efficiency.
• Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with Company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Handle general import/export administrative duties and any other tasks assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Maritime Business Management, Air & Sea Freight Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in ocean freight forwarding operations, with solid exposure to both import and export operations.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, documentation, customs requirements, and carrier operations.
• Ability to manage daily operations effectively, resolve operational issues, and support customer requirements in a timely manner.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience will be an advantage.
• Strong communication and coordination skills inworking with customers, carriers, overseas offices, and internal departments.
• Team player with a proactive “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Correspond with clients by phone, email or facsimile for projects and other related matters.

• Work as an overall account manager for the assigned client/s.

• Prepare quotes and PO, both technical and commercial.

• Responsible for following the rules assigned for determining margin and other considerations.

• Be proactive in liaising with customers/vendors, procurement and engineering department to prepare quotations, etc. for after-sales services.

• Arrange & attend meetings with in-house engineers, sales persons, etc.

• Coordinating with client & accounts team for timely preparing and processing of invoices. Responsible for tacking invoices and timely payments.

• Timely reporting of business activities and sales forecast to business group.

• Record keeping of all the technical communication, history of equipment, Changes & upgrades

• Enter data and maintain project records and files (Mainly in electronic copy, including hard copy)

• Support group leaders for carrying out administrative jobs, such as record keeping, taking notes and providing MOM, arranging for travels etc.

Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering / Business or any other relevant discipline
• 1-3 Years of experience in engineering setting / sales support
