About the Role

The Senior Control Software Engineer (Space Laser Communications) is responsible for design and performance improvements of control systems at Transcelestial, specifically for our space laser communication devices. Requirements:

• Possess at least a bachelor’s degree/Diploma in computer science or a related field
• Strong understanding of software architecture, programming principles and design patterns in Java.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Junit, Gradle/Maven.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of one or more RDMS like PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL.
• Experience with reverse engineering, AspectJ (AOP), or code injection techniques is a plus.
• Experience with SAP or PLM systems like Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia is a plus.
• Understanding one or more cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenShift, Rancher is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of UNIX, shell scripting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Self-motivated and ability to learn new technologies.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Java development.

Role: Software Developer - Modern Angular

Work Location: Maxwell Road

Responsibilities:

• An experienced Angular Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Angular 12 and above, responsible for building and maintaining modern, scalable web applications and integrating them with Java/Spring Boot REST APIs.

• The role requires solid knowledge of TypeScript, Angular architecture, and frontend best practices, along with close collaboration with backend and cross-functional teams. 

• Experience in migrating legacy applications from AngularJS (1.x) to modern Angular is strongly preferred, including refactoring and modernization efforts. 

• The ideal candidate demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, attention to quality, and the ability to work effectively in agile, enterprise-scale environments.
