The Global Regulatory Compliance Team forms part of the second line of defence (2LOD) at Airwallex whilst operating within the larger LRC function. This role is a newly created senior role with a specific focus on our Asian business. You will be a key member of the Global Regulatory Compliance Team, based in Malaysia or Singapore and with a direct reporting line to the global team head (based in Amsterdam).

What you'll do

As Director, Regulatory Compliance, Asia you will deliver on the regulatory engagement strategy and maintain our licensing responsibilities for our regulated financial services entities across Asia. You will coordinate with all internal and external parties to ensure compliance through the communication of regulatory requirements, cross-functional collaboration to productize solutions and offerings, implementation and execution of processes and interfacing with our regulators. You will also help to continue to build our global regulatory compliance program based on the 2 lines of defence principle. You will analyse new and existing products and provide guidance to ensure that our 2LOD second line of defence controls are fit for purpose and comply with regulatory obligations and guide the first line business to enable the maturity of both customer-facing and internal back-office processes and product features.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership team member within the Global Regulatory Compliance Team for Airwallex

• Deliver the regulatory engagement strategy for the Airwallex entities in the region

• Support the Airwallex Group’s expansion by managing the regulatory compliance components of licence authorisation processes

• Act as a key stakeholder in relation to licence applications, business plan updates and information requests between Airwallex and our regulators

Who you are

We’re looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in law from a recognised university or analogous Compliance qualifications / experience;

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in regulatory compliance in a regulated financial institution, FinTech, legal / consulting firm, or combination of the above;

• Familiarity with financial regulatory laws, rules, regulations and industry best practices across the Asia region;

• Significant experience in a variety of regulatory legal or compliance roles, with experience in managing teams across multiple geographies;

About the Role

We're looking for a senior marketing analytics leader who can connect the dots between business goals, growth marketing performance, and data-driven decision making. This is a newly created position within the Marketing organization.

You will start as a hands-on individual contributor, building the foundations of marketing measurement, experimentation, and planning from the ground up. As the function scales, you will help shape the operating model and future team structure, acting as a key thought partner to senior marketing and business leaders.

You will work closely with central, channel and local marketing teams, Data Analytics, Finance and Product to define how we measure success, optimize investments and scale data-driven decision making across our globa marketing engine.

What You'll Do

• Act as a core member of the Marketing Analytics function, establishing core frameworks, tools and ways of working for data-driven marketing decision making.
• Own the global marketing measurement framework, including funnel definitions, KPI hierarchy and performance scorecards across channels, markets and products.

What You'll Need

• 12+ years of experience, with 6 – 8 years of experience in marketing analytics, growth strategy, marketing science, performance marketing or related fields, ideally in high-growth consumer tech, e-commerce or digital businesses.
• Proven track record as a senior individual contributor or player-coach building or significantly shaping analytics or marketing science capabilities.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing funnels, acquisition and retention economics and commercial metrics such as CAC, LTV, GMV and ROI.

• Manage and deliver excellent, original radio programming and daily rundown from Monday to Friday in close cooperation with Programming Director and MDT & EDT team, including talk-set time management, ability to know and lookout for pitfalls, tech difficulties or dangerous content, proof-reading all content, and maintaining and updating story arcs of MDT and EDT team

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and execute business development strategies for an integrated wellness and hospitality business.

· Identify and secure corporate clients, group bookings, membership programs, and long-term partnerships.

We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Technology Operations and Service Management lead who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about building resilient systems from the ground up. In this role, you’ll be the guardian of production stability, bridging engineering, support, and business to ensure our tech stack is reliable, scalable, and ready to grow with us.

You’ll wear multiple hats—part SRE, part incident commander, part operations strategist—helping us build with operational excellence and run with confidence while embedding AI across different domains.
 

Production Support & Monitoring

• Monitor and support production applications to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Lead incident response efforts, including communication and coordination across teams.
• Conduct problem management and root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
• Coordinate with development teams to address and resolve bugs efficiently.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

• Maintain system reliability, availability, and uptime through proactive measures.
• Implement automated healing, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
• Perform capacity planning and system performance tuning to support scalability.
• Conduct regular service operational reviews and audits to ensure adherence to standards.

Data Operations

• Manage data-related incidents and maintain lineage tracking for transparency and traceability.

Technology Operations and Service Management

• Provide input on operational requirements during design
• Participate in non-functional testing (e.g., performance, failover)
• Define SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets (SRE)

• Work with Data Engineering to define data pipelines and quality checks
• Define service requirements and SLAs during vendor onboarding
• Contribute to BCP/DR planning
• Provide feedback on incident trends to improve design

• Use AI to analyze incident trends and recommend design improvements or automation opportunities.

On-Premises Network Devices and Operations

• Monitor and manage on-premises network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Ensure network performance, availability, and security through proactive maintenance and configuration management.
• Conduct regular network health checks, firmware updates, and hardware lifecycle planning.
• Respond to and resolve network-related incidents, including root cause analysis and documentation.
• Implement and maintain network segmentation, access controls, and compliance with internal security policies.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in IT operations, service management, or related roles, ideally in high-growth or startup environments.
• Ops Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across Production Support, SRE, DevOps, and Service Management.
• Frameworks & Best Practices: Experience with ITIL framework and service management best practices.
• Incident & Problem Management: Strong track record in leading incident response and driving root cause analysis.
• Performance & Reliability: Experience in capacity planning, performance tuning, and building reliable systems.
• BCP & DR: Hands-on experience with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning and execution.

The Team – EY Parthenon Geostrategic Business Group

The EY Parthenon Geostrategic Business Group combines geopolitical expertise with sector and commercial insight to advise boards, executives, and investors on issues such as:

• Reimaging business strategy in a turbulent world
• Strategic investment and market entry decisions in geopolitically complex markets
• Economic security policy, sanctions and regulatory fragmentation
• Supply chain resilience and industrial policy
• Energy security and the geopolitics of the energy transition
• Technology competition, digital policy and AI governance
• Geopolitical risk analysis, strategic scenario planning and table top simulations; and
• Geopoliticalrisk governance systems and processes.

The group works closely with EY teams across strategy, supply chain, risk, transactions, economics and sector teams to deliver integrated advisory services to multinational corporations, financial institutions and governments.

Your key responsibilities

This is an external-facing role that combines thought leadership, client advisory, and commercial business development. Key responsibilities include:

• Advise clients on geopolitical developments and their implications for business strategy, investment and operations
• Support clients in responding to geopolitical disruption across supply chains, markets and regulatory environments
• Conduct geostrategic risk assessments and scenario analysis
• Develop thought leadership on emerging geopolitical trends
• Support business development and the growth of EY geostrategic advisory capabilities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across EY including Strategy, Supply Chain, Risk, Transactions and sector practices
• Contribute to the development of methodologies, tools and frameworks for geopolitical advisory.

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have

• At least 12 years of relevant professional experience
• A demonstrated combination experience in geopolitics, trade, industry and commercial advisory experience
• Experience advising senior executives, policymakers or major organizations
