Job Summary

Perform Manufacturing Engineering activities within Engine Overhaul and Component Repair production areas. Act as the Technical Authority, ensuring the initial and ongoing capability of production methods to consistently produce conforming products, and driving the resolution of technical issues, problems, and deviations to meet business and customer requirements in safety, cost, delivery rate, and lead time (SQCD). ·       Standards – Deploy and sustain SAESL Operating System standards in collaboration with the Cell/Area CFT and suppliers, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement of standards.

·       Technical Authority – Define manufacturing engineering and process requirements and make technical decisions within the area of accountability.

·       Lean / Improvement – Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in manufacturing processes and methods. Prioritise and drive new initiatives based on business cases and promote adoption of best-in-class practices.

·       Deploy Capability (including NPI) – Ensure production readiness for new manufacturing capabilities and methods. Develop real-time, data-driven methods to capture process capability and ensure effective use across the facility and supply chain. Maintain Production Technical Packages (e.g. technical instructions, programmes, tooling) for all parts and assemblies, ensuring manufacturing processes meet requirements for quality, cost, delivery rate, and lead time.

Qualification / Experience
