Role Overview
The Junior Landscape Technician supports daily operations across nursery, preparation, and project execution. This role focuses on reliability, consistency, and hands-on work to ensure all projects are properly prepared and executed.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Operations & Preparation
• Prepare job materials based on submitted prep lists from Landscape and Events teams
• Ensure all required items are ready prior to project execution
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of nursery and storage areas
2. Mock-Up & Setup Support
• Assist in creating plant mock-ups based on team references
• Arrange plants, materials, and styling according to design direction
• Support loading and unloading of items for project deployment
3. Sourcing & Logistics
• Source plants and materials independently to fulfil project needs
• Coordinate purchases from nurseries and suppliers
• Assist with transportation and delivery preparation
4. On-Site Support
• Assist team during installations and setups
• Follow instructions from Project Managers and Senior Technicians
• Ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently
Requirements
• Responsible and reliable with good work ethic
• Able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Comfortable with physical work (lifting, moving plants/materials)
• Basic knowledge or interest in plants and landscaping preferred
• Preferably able to drive (Class 3/3A licence)
