Join our Digital Infrastructure & Cybersecurity team as a Network & Security Specialist, securing and maintaining IT systems across on-premise and cloud (AWS) environments.
Responsibilities and Authorities
1. Network Administration & Operations:
• Design, implement, manage, and troubleshoot secure LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and VPN architectures
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems to ensure availability, reliability, and performance
• Policy configuration, VPN setup, Web filtering and content inspection
• Oversee IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and VLAN configurations
• Monitor network traffic and bandwidth usage to identify and resolve bottlenecks or abnormal activity
• Perform root-cause analysis of network outages and implement corrective actions
2. IT Security Operations:
• Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, anti-virus/malware protection, endpoint security, DLP, and mobile device management (MDM)
• Conduct security monitoring using SIEM tools and respond to real-time security incidents
• Perform regular vulnerability scans, patch management, and remediation activities
• Lead or support incident response processes, including threat analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery
3. Cloud Security (Azure / AWS / Google Cloud): Co-Own the following duties with the Cloud & Infrastructure Specialist. Ensure proper configuration of cloud-native security services such as:
• Cloud Security Groups, IAM, GuardDuty, Config, CloudTrail, WAF, Defender for Cloud, Azure AD, NSGs, IAM, VPC Firewall & Cloud Security Command Center
• Implement and monitor logging, alerting, and auditing for cloud-based workloads
• Manage secure access to cloud resources using conditional access, MFA, role-based access control (RBAC), and zero-trust principles
• Stay current with evolving cloud security trends, threats, and compliance frameworks
4. Compliance & Governance:
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as ISO 27001, Data Protection and ISO23001
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of network and cloud infrastructure, configurations, security policies, and access controls
• Participate in audits and support internal and external security assessments
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices for both on-prem and cloud environments
5. Collaboration & Support:
• Support and train IT staff and end-users on cybersecurity awareness, phishing prevention, and secure IT practices
• Provide tier 2/3 support for security incidents, outages, or escalated network issues
6. Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
• Regularly test DR plans and ensure high availability and compliance with organization BCP objectives
7. Others
• Performs other duties as may be directed by the Department Manager.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Network Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in network and IT security roles, with at least 1–2 years focused on cloud security
• Hands-on experience with both on-premise and cloud infrastructures in a mid-to-large scale environment
Certifications (Preferred/Required):
• Required (any one or more):
- CompTIA Security+
- Cisco CCNA Security
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Preferred:
- CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GSEC
Technical Skils:
• Proficiency in configuring and securing networking equipment (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.)
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), cloud networking, and cloud security services
• Familiar with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NAC, and vulnerability scanners
• Hands-on experiences on authentication protocols and Zero Trust Architecture
