We are looking for an experienced clinical monitor to perform the study monitroing in ADVANcing Clinical Evidence in Infectious Diseases Network (ADVANCE ID). ADVANCE ID is jointly funded by the Wellcome Trust and Singapore institutions including the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. The vision of the Network is to improve public health by developing the clinical evidence base for the prevention and treatment of drug-resistant infections. Its mission is to build and sustain a strategic clinical research network focussed on most efficiently delivering locally relevant interventions for drug-resistant infections.

The Network aims to improve and strengthen clinical research capabilities in the region by acting as a platform to develop good principles and practices. It will stabilise capacity and capabilities to mitigate inefficiencies in trial start-up phase and loss of skillset following study closure, as in typical trial setup. The Network will continuously develop its capabilities, quality and efficiency by learning from and collaborating with other clinical trial networks.

In the long term, the Network aims to support broader infectious disease studies by expanding geographically beyond its original starting point in South East Asia and collaborating with other networks around the world. It will function as an active network that involves patients in platform trials, allowing for rapid clinical research response in the event of an emerging infectious disease or pandemic threat.
The monitor should be able to supervise study sites and activities to ensure adherence to appropriate study protocols and applicable regulatory requirementterms of the study.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Conduct qualification visits (QV), site initiation visits (SIV), monitoring visits (MV) and termination visits (TV) at assigned clinical sites and generate visit reports.
• Monitor the progress of clinical study sites participating in a clinical study, and to assure the protocol is followed and data is reported accurately.
• Evaluate the quality and integrity of the reported data, site efficacy and investigational product (IP) management.
• Review the performance of the trial at designated sites, ensure the rights and well-being of human subjects are safeguarded and are in accordance with protocol.

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Information Technology, Organisational Development, Learning & Development, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in AI transformation, digital transformation, change management, programme management, organisational development, learning enablement, or stakeholder engagement roles.

• Proven experience driving technology adoption and influencing business stakeholders across multiple levels of an organisation.

• Strong ability to translate technical concepts into meaningful business outcomes for non-technical audiences.

• Experience facilitating workshops, conducting business discovery sessions, and managing transformation initiatives.

• Working knowledge of Generative AI technologies, AI-powered productivity tools, and their practical applications in a business environment.

• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working within complex, matrixed, and multicultural organisations.

Job Description

The Manager, Risk & Compliance is a new role at Hafnia, to be based in Singapore or Copenhagen and part of the Governance, Risk & Compliance pillar within the Executive Projects, Compliance & ESG team. The team works closely with Hafnia's Leadership Group across three pillars to enable strategic execution, safeguard the organization through robust governance and risk oversight, and embed sustainability across the business.

The role reports to the Senior Manager, Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance. During an initial transition period, the role will report directly to the Head of Executive Projects, Compliance & ESG.

This position will play a critical role in operating Hafnia's risk management framework and Corporate Compliance Program, driving compliance efforts and managing enterprise risks. It involves guiding departments and maintaining oversight on compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to sanctions, anti-corruption, anti-trust, anti-money laundering, GDPR, and business ethics. A key focus is building a strong culture of integrity and adherence to regulatory and risk standards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Risk management framework

• Operationalize and continuously improve Hafnia's enterprise risk management framework
• Conduct risk assessments and risk reviews with business owners across functions
• Maintain Hafnia's risk register and relevant documentation
• Work with business owners to develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans

Regulatory compliance and governance for corporate office

• Develop, implement and regularly review our compliance policies
• Keep up to date on regulatory developments to ensure the business remains complaint
• Assess effectiveness of the Compliance Program and adapt it to regulatory developments and emerging risks
• Coordinate regularly with the legal team and HSEQ department on compliance matters
• Represent Hafnia and develop its engagement within the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN) and other industry forums.
• Provide continuous recommendations for the development of the compliance program
• Perform counterparty sanctions screening and assist with KYC process
• Manage the network of compliance systems and guide business users

Forward Freight Agreement (FFA) governance

• Oversee the governance and compliance framework for Hafnia's FFA activities
• Maintain FFA-related controls, policies and documentation
• Coordinate with Commercial and Finance teams to ensure consistent FFA compliance and reporting

Corporate ethics and integrity

• Champion a culture of compliance and ethical decision-making across the organization
• Monitor adherence to our policies and procedures
• Develop compliance training programs and conduct mandatory training and awareness sessions, partnering with the Executive Projects team on rollout and change management
• Manage our whistleblower program and protection mechanisms
• Advise on internal investigations and corrective actions in case of violations

Reporting and auditor coordination

• Manage internal and external audit inquiries relating to Enterprise Risk Management and compliance activities
• Maintain documentation related to compliance and enterprise risk management
• Ensure timely reporting and resolution to inquiries or audits
• Report top risks to leadership and the Audit Committee on a regular cycle

Cross-functional collaboration

• Work with the Executive Projects team on policy implementation and change management initiatives
• Coordinate with the ESG team on governance frameworks, ESG risk integration and assurance alignment
• Work across Legal, HSEQ, Internal Audit and Commercial functions on shared risk and compliance topics

Crisis management and incident response

• Develop and implement crisis response strategies for compliance and risk-related incidents

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience working in shipping, compliance and/or risk management, preferably within an in-house team and in a global context. Legal experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of global regulatory requirements and industry/maritime best practices
• Clear grasp and understanding of key global anti-bribery, anti-trust, GDPR and trade sanctions frameworks
• Experience with enterprise risk management frameworks and methodologies
• Keen interest in maritime compliance and company governance structures
• Focus on details, with excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and to engage with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Relevant certifications (e.g., risk management, compliance) are a plus

Job Description:

• Responsible for all activities on the project, the field team and people on site ensuring that quality and safety standards are not compromised.
• Projects must be delivered on time, oversee budget and cost control and in accordance with the contract scopes and specifications.
• To prepare and submit progress reports, progress claims, safety reports, materials to purchase and ad-hoc reports for projects.
• Liaison will be required with the clients and consultants for design and with management team, supply chain and vendors, suppliers, sub-contractors and internal support functions.
• Coordination and liaise with Architects/ Consultants / Main Contractors / Vendors / Sub-Contractors / Clients and Authorities.
• The candidate will be fully accountable for the overall financial result of each project and will be expected to regularly monitor and review progress against plan and where necessary to take action to mitigate on overspending in costs.
• Lead the project team in the execution of projects.
• Project planning and resource allocation.
• Conduct site survey (pre-commencement, post project etc).
• Documentation and effectively communication with external parties and internal departments (approval of drawings, samples, schedule, delays, technical clarifications, EOT, etc).
• To attend site meetings with customers and vendors.
• Other duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics/ Mechatronics), Project Management or equivalent.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• WSQ Manage Workplace Safety and Health in Construction Sites (CSCPM) or Construction Safety Course for Project Managers – CSCPM Certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.

• Responsible for managing month-end closing activities including property tax, depreciation, and investment-related entries while ensuring accuracy of financial records and compliance to relevant accounting standards. 
• Handles asset matters including minor assets tracking, stocktake, disposal schedules and capital expenditure reporting.
