The Role (Position Objective/ Summary):

This position is the function owner for Revenue and Accounts Receivable, overseeing end-to-end revenue accounting and reporting activities for APAC entities for monthly management reporting which includes providing various reports for management and FP&A. The position is also responsible for providing timely and accurate accounting for various subsidiary companies’ financial books. • Intercompany reconciliation with counterparts by investigating and resolving differences

• Assist to formulate and review the group operating policies with the ultimate objective of improving the internal control system and practices and standardization of operating procedures for greater transparency, efficiency and resource utilization

• Ensure transactions are recorded in a tax efficient and effective manner

• Compliance with all business and financial controls required to minimize operational and financial risks

• Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting control procedures

• Performing & implementation of SOX relevant controls

• Strong understanding of IFRS, SFRS and US GAAP (advantage)

Job Requirements:

• At least 4 years of relevant working experience.

• Possess a Degree in Accounting.

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Strong inter-personal skills, self-motivated, proactive, analytical, meticulous, willing and able to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• A corporate-level role responsible for overseeing accounts receivable functions at both the entity and group levels.

• Responsible for performing credit control functions, including liaising with credit insurance providers to ensure appropriate coverage and risk management for customer receivables.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts receivable function.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills

• Ability to work independently, leadership qualities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Experience in working with credit insurance providers.

• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP system is an advantage.
