Our client is a well-established F&B group with a central kitchen supporting multiple outlets across Singapore. They are seeking an Assistant Manager, QA to oversee food safety, quality control processes, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Food Safety
- Oversee overall quality and safety of food products at Central Kitchen
- Ensure products meet internal standards and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and enforce compliance with HACCP and relevant food safety guidelines
Audit & Compliance
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and quality checks
- Ensure all processes adhere to established SOPs and QA protocols
- Liaise with relevant authorities and ensure compliance with food safety regulations
Process Improvement
- Maintain and continuously improve quality control procedures
- Develop and review quality and food safety policies
- Support process optimisation to enhance product quality and consistency
Customer Feedback & Investigation
- Investigate customer feedback and quality issues
- Implement corrective and preventive actions
Team Management & R&D Support
- Supervise QA operations and ensure proper execution of QA activities
- Support product and process development initiatives
- Participate in food testing and quality validation
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related discipline
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in food quality assurance or food manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
- Experience in Central Kitchen or food production environment preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
