Job summary
You will be responsible for maintaining a cleanand organized warehouse, preparing and labeling products for delivery,assisting walk-in customers, and ensuring accurate inventory records. Your roleis crucial in supporting efficient warehouse operations, accurate orderfulfillment, and high customer satisfaction.
Core responsibilities
- Warehouse Maintenance: Ensure the warehouse is clean and tidy at all times, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Order Preparation: Open the warehouse and prepare products according to Delivery Orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Labelling: Label packed orders with respective Delivery Order numbers, ensuring proper identification and handling.
- Customer Assistance: Pick products for walk-in customers, providing prompt and courteous service.
- Inventory Management: Check product availability using the system upon request, assisting in maintaining accurate warehouse and operational inventory records.
- Forklift Operations: Operate a forklift to pull products from shelves or storage areas safely and efficiently.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack products according to Delivery Orders, ensuring items match descriptions, color, size, and quantity requirements.
Additional Tasks: Perform other tasks as assigned, supporting overall warehouse operations and contributing to team goals.
Job Specifications
Qualifications
· Secondary school and above
· Able to read English instructions and communicate well with fellow team members
· Proven experience in warehouse operations or a related role.
· Forklift certification and experience operating a forklift safely.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes
1. Forklift certification and experience operating a forklift safely. Driving skills a plus
2. Strong organizational and time management skills.
3. Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with team members and customers.
4. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling products and inventory.
5. Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
6. Willingness to learn and improve
Working Conditions
- Open area (warehouse)
- Work at several locations
- Can be noisy at times due to ongoing drilling/ nature of work
- Tools: Saw, forklift machine, pallet strap machine, other warehouse tools
Offer
- $2,200 base salary + monthly bonuses upon achieving targets
- OT applicable
- Benefits below to be prorated based on number of days worked in the year and available after probation:
o 14 days Annual Leave, 14 days Medical Leave
o 13th month bonus & performance bonus, subjected to personal and company’s performance for the year
