Procurement Manager – Construction Industry

Job Summary

The Procurement Manager is responsible for planning, sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and subcontract services required for construction projects. The role ensures cost efficiency, quality compliance, and timely delivery to support project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement Planning

• Develop procurement strategies and schedules aligned with project timelines
• Prepare material take-offs and procurement plans
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and quantity surveyors

2. Sourcing & Supplier Management

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and subcontractors
• Maintain a pre-qualified vendor list
• Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, pricing)

3. Tendering & Negotiation

• Prepare and issue RFQs / RFPs (Requests for Quotation/Proposal)
• Analyze bids and conduct technical and commercial evaluations
• Negotiate pricing, terms, warranties, and delivery schedules
• Finalize contracts and purchase orders

4. Cost Control & Budget Management

• Ensure procurement stays within project budgets
• Perform cost comparisons and value engineering
• Track procurement spending and identify cost-saving opportunities

5. Contract & Compliance Management

• Manage disputes, claims, and variations with suppliers

Qualifications & Experience

• Typically 5–10+ years of experience in construction procurement
• Experience handling:Large-scale building or infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of local regulations and suppliers is a plus

Summary:

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing the storage, handling, and distribution of hardware materials, tools, and equipment. This role ensures accurate inventory control, proper storage conditions, and timely issuance of goods to support daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify hardware items (e.g., tools, fittings, fasteners, building materials) against delivery orders
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of items for easy identification and retrieval
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements in the system
• Monitor stock levels and report low stock or discrepancies
• Pick, pack, and issue items according to sales orders or internal requests
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist in stock audits
• Handle returns, damaged goods, and discrepancies with suppliers
• Ensure the store/warehouse is clean, safe, and compliant with safety regulations
• Coordinate with sales and procurement teams to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

• 1-2 year experience as a storekeeper, preferably in a hardware, construction, or industrial supply environment
• Familiarity with hardware items and tools is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of inventory management systems
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy items when required
• Basic computer skills (e.g., MS Excel)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver hardware and construction materials to customers and project sites

• Load and unload goods from the warehouse and delivery vehicle

• Ensure accurate delivery according to invoices and delivery orders

• Assist with basic warehouse duties when required

• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the company vehicle

• Follow delivery schedules and ensure safe driving at all times

Requirements:

• Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident only

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence (Class 4 is an advantage)

• Familiar with roads and industrial areas in Singapore

• Capable of performing physical tasks as loading and unloading of goods is required

• Responsible, punctual and able to work independently

Position Overview:

The Store Assistant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, including supporting inventory, maintaining stock levels, support projects preparation and ensuring the warehouse runs efficiently. This role requires strong organizational skills to ensure smooth operations and support our overall business goals.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Inventory Support:

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and organization of broadcast equipment and materials, maintaining outstanding store condition and merchandising standards.
• Support inventory process to ensure stock is always available when needed.
• Coordinate with Operations team to reorder items as necessary.
• Work closely with Engineering, equipment allocation and Logistic team to document and implement proper inventory tracking procedures and optimize inventory accuracy.
• Support purchase requisitions for the regular consumables in Warehouse and for projects and make sure optimal quantity is ordered. Notify Engineering Team on expected delivery timelines

Operations Oversight:

• Ensure the smooth flow of equipment from receiving to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with organization policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
• Monitor and report on operational metrics.
• Assist with loading/unloading, sorting, and preparing equipment for distribution or return.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Ensure all Warehouse (i.e. forklift, stackers) equipment is functioning right, stored properly and is in safe position.
• Assist Engineers with routine checks and minor maintenance of broadcast equipment as required.
• Administer and identify any missing (if any) inventory or equipment(s) that is broken, requires repair and investigate and record reasons and report to the GM and Management.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Assist operations in preparing regular reports for senior management on stock levels, equipment movements, and operational performance.
• Audit internal locations and reconcile regularly home locations in the database, inspect discrepancies, and coordinate with Engineering Manager to rectify these.

Qualification / Requirements:

• Proven experience in warehouse, operations, or inventory control.
• Experience in the broadcast or media industry is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and general warehouse operations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, or overtime if needed.

• Prior experience in a hardware warehouse or logistics environment is a plus

Working Hours:

• 5.5 day work week
• Monday to Saturday
