Metric Management

• Drive and align the FE Production team on critical reports for Line Management, Inventory Management and Cycle time.

Requirements:

• Procure fabrication parts such as sheet metal and machine structures to support various business units within the Group
• Evaluate and qualify vendor capabilities to ensure alignment with demand forecasts and quality standards
• Oversee capacity planning and coordinate deliveries, focusing on long lead items to meet production schedules
• Lead vendor development initiatives to enhance supplier performance and reliability
• Spearhead material cost reduction programs to optimize procurement expenses

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in an Engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical or Mechatronics
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Several years of relevant experience with strong understanding of machining processes and material costing
• Strong communication and negotiation skills demonstrated in vendor management contexts
• Established supplier network and contacts to support procurement activities

Responsibilities:

• Be part of Technical team responsible for maintaining and ensuring the serviceability of all systems and equipment
• Be technically proficient in all aspects of maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting the full range of systems and equipment (e.g. warehouse systems, material handling and automation systems, refrigeration systems, kitchen equipment, packaging and inspection machines, washing machines, waste management systems, etc.) and other technical related knowledge
• Manage, perform and ensure all maintenance activities and repair works are timely follow-through according to the assignment, maintenance schedule, procedures, checklists, manufacturer recommendation and completed within the timeframe
• Manage, perform and ensure all technical purchase requisition of spare parts, contracts and services are in accordance to the Company policies and follow-through to support the maintenance activities
• Manage, communicate and work professionally with all stakeholders to minimize systems and equipment downtime
• Be proactive in resolving technical faults, contributing initiatives and continuous improvements
• Always observe and follow all Safe Work Procedures and Food Safety requirements
• Always ensure Safe Work environment by housekeeping of all work areas and report any safety hazards immediately
• Perform and support other relevant duties and projects assignments if required

Requirements:

• Diploma/Higher Nitec in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering related qualifications
• Certified Work-At-Height
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP and IT devices
• Competent in reading technical drawings and documentation
• Competent in using industrial workshop equipment and welding tools
• Able to carry heavy loads and Work-At-Height
• Able to work on rotating shift (6 day work week, rotating shift (can be am, pm or night)

• Location: Near Changi (transport is provided for late/night shifts)
