The Role: M&A Analyst: Singapore

We are looking for ambitious M&A (mergers and acquisitions) Analysts to join our APAC team, based in our Singapore office. You will work directly with the underwriting team, who evaluate M&A opportunities and businesses across industries and jurisdictions, and are recognised leaders in the transactional risk insurance space. The position will provide in-depth exposure to international M&A and the insurance industryin an entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities will include:

·       Analysing M&A transactions, including reviewingf inancial statements, business background information, due diligence material and purchase agreements

What you'll do:

As a Trade Processing Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of trade transactions within an investment management environment. Role purpose of the Business Acceptance Unit

• To process requests from partners for A&O to accept new legal matters including, in particular, performing anti-money laundering and background checks on new clients and performing conflicts checks (within internal databases) on each new matter (for both new and existing clients);
• To obtain from relevant lawyers required evidence of identity for new clients (and existing clients for whom the practice has done no work in the preceding two years and whose ownership or control may therefore have changed in the intervening period);

ABOUTTHE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced KYC Quality Assurance Analyst to join our client's Compliance team in Singapore. •     Summarise and escalate high-risk or unclear cases to the AMLO with well-reasoned recommendations.

•     Maintain quality assurance records and contribute to internal audit readiness and ongoing compliance reviews.

•     Provide constructive, actionable feedback to L1 and L2 analysts to drive improvements in quality and consistency.

•     Identify systemic issues or trends in KYC reviews and propose process enhancements.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential

•     Minimum 3 years of hands-on KYC experience within a licensed bank or financial institution (non-negotiable).

•     Prior experience in an L3 reviewer, QA, or Compliance Officer capacity.

•     Strong knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and KYC frameworks applicable in Singapore (MAS guidelines).

•     Proven ability to assess complex corporate structures and high-risk customer profiles.

•     Meticulous attention to detail with strong analytical and investigative skills.

Job Description

* To verify & execute renewable fuel, crude oil and petroleum products trade instructions accurately to ensure seamless settlement and reduce operational risks.

* To perform physical delivery operations of renewable fuel, crude oil and petroleum products.

* To analyze trading exposures and profit/loss.

* To support business development.

* To generate external and internal trade reports in both English and Japanese.
