About the Role

Our client, a MAS-regulated financial services firm, is seeking a client-focused Senior Client Advisor to join its growing team. This role is responsible for developing and managing relationships with affluent and high-net-worth individuals, providing wealth and investment solutions, and supporting clients throughout their financial journey.

The ideal candidate is a motivated relationship manager with strong knowledge of wealth management products, excellent client engagement skills, and the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and deepen relationships with affluent and high-net-worth clients.
• Understand clients' financial objectives and provide suitable wealth management, investment, and financial planning solutions.
• Conduct KYC, Client Due Diligence (CDD), ongoing reviews, and regulatory documentation in accordance with MAS requirements.
• Facilitate trade placements and coordinate investment transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide clients with timely market updates, investment insights, and recommendations tailored to their needs and risk profiles.
• Maintain a high standard of client service and build long-term relationships through proactive engagement.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices as a Registered Representative.
• Support product education and training initiatives for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in business development initiatives, strategic projects, and special assignments as required.

Requirements

• Recognized university degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Relevant experience in wealth management, private banking, financial advisory, external asset management, or investment-related roles.
• Strong knowledge of investment products, wealth management solutions, and financial markets.
• Proven track record in client acquisition, relationship management, and business development.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented with a strong sales drive.
• Experience managing clients from Greater China, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, or other Southeast Asian markets is advantageous.
• Ability to travel regionally when required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal candidate will offer knowledge, experience and innovative ideas around donor cultivation and relationship management.

The main responsibility is to create and execute the full lifecycle of the donor experience mainly through the donor advised fund (DAF). This is focused on giving opportunities, to achieve the donor's philanthropy goals. This position facilitates active relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWI) and corporate donors by providing strategic advice and promoting best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of donors, cultivating and sustaining active relationships that encourage and inform their charitable giving.
• Engage and guide a broad range of donor types from self-directed, to donors who have yet to take advantage of CFS's advisory services and low activity funds, as well as those open to exploring complex charitable programmes.
• Work closely with corporate and individual donors to develop strategic philanthropic strategies.
• Provide excellent service; advise donors in articulating, planning and achieving their giving goals.
• Provide strategic philanthropy advisory to donors by recommending impactful programme solutions using logic model/theory of change to guide their giving to be more deliberate and informed.
• Proactively provide information and respond to donors' philanthropy priorities. Collaborate across teams to facilitate fund administration and donations.
• Connect donors to meaningful funding opportunities by collaborating with the charity-facing teams on philanthropy recommendations and grantmaking.
• Lead ad-hoc projects to increase donor affinity and donor engagement, expand advisory services, improve efficiencies, build capacity and capabilities of the team.
• Collaborate with the Communications & Marketing and charity-facing teams to present educational opportunities for donors and/or their employees to learn more about the charitable landscape in Singapore.

• A Degree from an accredited tertiary institution, or comparable qualifications.
• At least 10 years of experience working in an advisory role, foundation, business development, fundraising or front-facing client relations.
• A team player, with experience working with a high degree of independence in a time-sensitive environment.
• Strong sense of confidentiality; superior interpersonal skills with an ability to work with diverse audiences, senior corporate leaders and HNWIs.
• Ability to analyse and synthesise information towards a longer-term objective.
• Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin, essential for effectively engaging Chinese stakeholders and building trusted relationships.
