Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance activities, including IMTE and calibration for manufacturing equipment.
• Organise and manage both routine and ad-hoc preventive maintenance for buildings and utility facilities.
• Carry out hands-on maintenance tasks and basic electrical work when required.
• Coordinate feasibility assessments and planning for new equipment installations and facility upgrades.
• Work closely with contractors and service providers to supervise maintenance and repair activities.
• Prepare and review approval documentation, equipment training instruction, and installation applications to government agencies, and other internal documents
• Manage spare parts inventory, source quotations, negotiate pricing, and process purchase orders.
• Support the Technical Department in executing the company’s Environment, Health, and Safety initiatives.

• Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 10-15 years of related working experience (Chemical industry exposure is an added advantage).
• Possession of a LEW certification is an added benefit; basic knowledge of electrical systems and/or instrumentation is required.
• Familiar with risk assessment processes and FMEA methodologies.
• Experience using AutoCAD is an added advantage.
• Knowledgeable in Environment, Health, and Safety practices, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

• To support the Facilities Management team by acting as the frontline representative to ensure the effective execution of services across designated schools. Will play a key role in planning, supervising, and coordinating all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
  
• Act as the primary point of contact for Schools and Users regarding facilities management services. Ensure that all contracted services are delivered effectively and in a timely manner, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
  
• Assist schools in planning and scheduling all visits and maintenance services. Work closely with the Project Manager and other team members to coordinate the implementation of Infrastructure Improvement Works.
  
• Serve as the Site Supervisor, overseeing maintenance activities and ensuring that work is carried out to the required standards. Assist Professional Quantity Surveyors with site measurements and documentation, ensuring accurate data collection.
  
• Ensure that all field data and site records are accurately captured and uploaded to the centralized facilities management system. Maintain and update records as required, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for reporting purposes.
  
• Participate in the induction training for new staff and ongoing training programs for existing staff. Ensure that training programs are conducted at least every six months, focusing on continuous improvement and compliance with the contract standards.
  
• Monitor the quality of services provided, ensuring they meet the standards outlined in the contract. Work closely with the Project Manager to implement corrective actions where necessary to maintain service quality.
  
• Maintain open lines of communication with school administrators, addressing any issues or concerns promptly. Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and other stakeholders on the status of facilities management activities.
