Job Responsibilities:

- Provide engineering support to manufacturing equipment and processes

- Carry out Preventative Maintenance of production equipment

- Troubleshoot and repair faulty production equipment

- Improve and upgrading of Production equipment hardware and control (software)

- Identify and rectify process problems for quality improvement/scrap reduction

- Updated and control of equipment spare parts

- Installation and qualification of new processes and equipment

- Support new program/model start-up

- Minimizing machine downtime, scrap raw materials/products

- Maintaining correct spare parts inventory and product quality

- Communicating with production operators/supervisors and other support groups

- Having a high level of expertise and practical knowledge in various molding processes

Job Requirement :

- Diploma in Engineering or equivalent

- 2 years of relevant working experience

- Proficient with PLC Programming

- Able to perform shift work and OT

- Able to start work immediate or short notice

JOB RESPONSBILITIES:

• Oversee technical support.
• Conduct equipment/process qualifications as needed.
• Perform daily checks on machine performance and product/WIP quality.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and implement remedies.
• Report and document major product failures.
• Ensure timely preventive maintenance.
• Monitor calibration and servicing schedules.
• Coordinate with production team on schedules, improvements, audits, and stock takes.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is preferred.
• Possess technical troubleshooting skill.
• Available for monthly rotating shifts (alternating between day and night shifts; 8:00 AM–5:30 PM or 8:00 PM–5:30 AM)
• Work in cleanroom environment (Required to wear cleanroom uniform).

• Assist with new products start-up and Customer returns process
• Identify waste and improve the manufacturing processes
• Provide support to production equipment and tools
• Strive to meet Departmental cost and Quality objectives
• Follow up closely on daily Quality trends and analyze daily Quality issues

Requirements

• At least Diploma in Electronics / Mechanical / Chemical Engineering
• At least 3 years of similar experience within manufacturing industry problem-solving skills
• Prior knowledge with SMT process is an added advantage
• Able to function as a good team player
