The Supervisor is responsible for supporting daily NPI operations to ensure NPI targets are met in terms of build plan, product quality, productivity, and cost. This role oversees manufacturing performance indicators, manpower coordination, logistics execution, and continuous improvement initiatives, while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and system requirements.

The incumbent plays a key role in driving operational excellence, sustaining factory performance, and leading improvement projects to achieve business objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure production execution for NPI meets the build plan, quality standards, and delivery commitments.
• Monitor, analyze, and improve manufacturing performance indicators, inactive lots, productivity, incidental losses, logistics performance, 6S, and cost.
• Coordinate logistics activities to support NPI production yield and ensure execution follows the approved plan.
• Manage and control NPI build schedules to meet allocated timelines and output targets.
• Sustain production housekeeping, 6S practices, and support special operational tasks as required.
• Monitor and manage inactive lot indicators to minimize work-in-progress and delays.
• Coach, supervise, and optimize headcount utilization; balance shift manpower to meet production needs.
• Lead and manage continuous improvement and manufacturing projects from planning through execution and closure.
• Track project progress, prepare reports, and present results to management.
• Ensure compliance with system and customer requirements, including IMS, 8D problem-solving, and RBA standards.
• Ensure all activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.

BROAD  FUNCTIONS : 

• Lead a group of Equipment and Process Technicians
• Attend various Equipments and Process daily issue.
• Ensuring Preventive Maintenance schedule carry out by Technicians.
• Required excellent communication skills for various inter department communications
• Suggest and executive Continuous Improvement on equipments down time or improve operational efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES : 

• Attend various Daily Meeting. 2x per shift
• Work load assigning base on production schedule for various equipment.
• Respond to any escalation from technicians from unscheduled down time or process KPOV.
• Montitor and respond to QC escalation from Test’s KPOV.
• Respond and follow up on Quality Incidents on-hold and disposition.
• Responsible to Technicians career path planning and performance designation.
• Attend various training course for technical and soft skills.
• Become Emergency Response Team member
• Conduct Fire Drill Evacuation Exercise
• Involve Management System Audit

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead shift coordinators across Cleaning, Sputter, and Lube to ensure smooth operations.
• Review and prepare pass-down reports for incoming shifts.
• Act as backup to the Operations Manager when required.
• Conduct daily production meetings and deliver shift updates.
• Ensure strict compliance with rules, regulations, and SOPs.
• Plan and deploy manpower effectively to meet production needs, manage attendance and discipline, schedule overtime when required.
• Assist the Production Manager in executing daily operations and achieving production targets.
• Monitor machine utilization and line performance to meet output requirements.
• Escalate issues proactively to relevant PICs and management.
• Manage and clear over-WIP inventory, coordinate with Manufacturing Engineers on disposal of problematic lots.
• Perform MESA transactions, WIP tracking, and meet PI Count audit with zero discrepancy.
• Ensure compliance with IMS/RBA standards and maintain exemplary conduct.
• Lead line audits and enforce 7S housekeeping practices.
• Ensure products meet required quality, safety, and customer standards.
• Participate in FMEA, 8D, and SPC activities.
• Support cross-functional teams and take on additional operational responsibilities as needed.
