We are looking for an innovative and dynamic subject matter expert to lead business development for our ICE Global Network (IGN) and Consolidated Feeds services across the Asia Pacific region. Partnering closely with internal stakeholders — including Sales, Relationship Management, Product, and Marketing teams — as well as external clients, prospects, and partners, the Business Development Director will drive meaningful commercial growth. The role is central to helping clients access a broad universe of low-latency, aggregated, and normalized multi-asset financial information sourced from hundreds of global venues.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales and relationship management teams to drive revenue growth and identify cross-selling opportunities across ICE's broader suite of services.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for IGN and Consolidated Feeds, clearly articulating product capabilities, content coverage, and delivery options to clients and prospects.
• Identify and pursue new distribution opportunities for consolidated real-time market data across banks, asset managers, hedge funds, ISVs, and redistributors — including cross-sell opportunities with IGN.
• Lead the development of go-to-market strategies for IGN and ICE Consolidated Feeds across Asia Pacific, including competitive positioning against direct exchange feeds and other consolidated feed providers.
• Contribute to new product development and regional strategy for IGN, bringing a deep understanding of APAC market structure and client needs.
• Gather and synthesise client requirements around content, latency, symbology, normalisation, entitlements, and technical onboarding; channel market intelligence to Product and Development teams to inform the roadmap.
• Monitor and assess the competitive landscape, identifying threats and opportunities that could impact our market position.
• Track regulatory developments and market data policy changes — including evolving exchange licensing models — and evaluate their commercial and operational implications.
• Represent ICE Data Services externally as a thought leader, engaging regularly with clients and prospects, speaking at industry events, and maintaining a visible presence across relevant professional and social media channels.
• Travel across the Asia Pacific region to build and deepen client relationships.

Knowledge and Experience

• 5–10 years of experience with a network or hosting provider, market data or information services firm, data vendor, ISV, redistributor, or financial institution.
• University degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of network solutions and an understanding of the trading strategies they support across the Asia Pacific region.
• Strong expertise in real-time market data distribution and consolidated feeds, including delivery considerations such as latency, normalisation, entitlements, and onboarding across multiple asset classes.
• Broad familiarity with the market data ecosystem — including exchanges, data vendors, ISVs, and redistributors — and how buy-side and sell-side firms consume depth-of-market and reference data.

Job Duties:

• Define and execute the organization’s cloud service delivery strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term digital transformation initiatives.

• Lead the assessment and migration of on-premise infrastructure and applications to cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.

• Evaluate existing IT infrastructure, applications, and security posture to determine cloud readiness and define migration priorities.

• Oversee day-to-day cloud operations to maintain high availability, performance, and reliability of cloud environments.

• Ensure cloud environments comply with industry security standards and implement best practices including IAM, encryption, and network security.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure or operations, with at least 10 years working in cloud environments.

• Strong expertise in AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms, including architecture, services, and operational best practices.

• Proven experience leading large-scale cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

• Solid understanding of cloud security frameworks, including IAM, network security, encryption, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC2, CSA).

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native operations.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

This role is responsible for formulating and executing sales strategies for JGCAP in Singapore and neighboring APAC markets. The position focuses on driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining strong client relationships in energy, chemical, life sciences, industrial, and urban infrastructure sectors.

Job Description:

・Formulate sales policies, proposals and business plans for the company. The position is expected to formulate specific short-, medium- and long-term sales strategies for the company based on its group sales policy and drive the sales growth and business performance to achieve group targets.

・Coordinate and work closely with key clients to formulate business strategies and action plans for future projects. This role will also take a lead role in project-based commercial strategies, such as the coordination of joint venture partnerships, alliances, etc.

・Identify key issues in sales strategy of the company and entire JGC group in APAC countries and formulate policies to address them. Regularly report, propose and discuss with the senior management of the company and Japan headquarters sales department to achieve sales targets.

・Work closely with management of relevant divisions/departments of the company and the sales division of Japan HQ. Formulate sales strategies and take an initiative to promote it.
