Job's mission

As Global Manufacturing Process Lead, you will define and standardize ASM’s end-to-end manufacturing processes and MES capabilities to enable scalable, high-performance operations. You will translate business needs into robust digital solutions that improve safety, quality, throughput, and traceability while enabling real-time, data-driven decision making on the shop floor. 

Working across Manufacturing, Quality, EHS, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT, you will align stakeholders on process standards, metrics, and system requirements, and lead the design and deployment of MES solutions that deliver measurable operational and financial outcomes. 

What you will be working on

• Lead cross site process mapping to simplify, standardize, and document equipment manufacturing workflows and translate business requirements into scalable MES tool capabilities. 
• Own the global MES process standard and business capability roadmap from process definition through sustainment across manufacturing sites. 
• Define business requirements for MES design, configuration, integration, testing, and deployment in partnership with IT, vendors, and site teams. 
• Establish and govern MES master data, transaction rules, process controls, measurements, and traceability requirements to support safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity outcomes. 
• Partner with Planning and Logistics teams to improve demand to build signal flow, production readiness, and manufacturing visibility through MES enabled processes. 
• Ensure MES capabilities align with enterprise process standards, platform strategy, and end to end business process design. 
• Work with global process owners and IT to continuously enhance MES functionality, improve user adoption, and support ongoing platform maturity. 
• Ensure MES processes and controls comply with corporate policies, trade regulations, and audit requirements. 
• Provide business insights and recommendations to leadership on process performance, standardization opportunities, and MES capability improvements. 

What we are looking for

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field; semiconductor industry experience, or equivalent complex high-tech manufacturing experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading business process improvement, digital transformation, or operational excellence initiatives in a manufacturing or corporate environment. 
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and drive measurable improvements in quality, cost, and efficiency. 
• Comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Strategic Planning and Organisational Excellence Division, the incumbent will support NIEC’s efforts in digitalizing workflows, improving operational efficiency and strengthening data-driven decision-making. This role sits at the intersection of process improvement, data analytics, and strategic planning, and will work closely with internal stakeholders to streamline performance reporting, generate insights, and support organisational initiatives. The incumbent will also be expected to support matters relating to NIEC Board of Directors, corporate governance and internal staff communication.

Job Responsibilities

Process Improvement

• Design and implement dashboards to streamline cross-divisional performance reporting processes.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across reporting systems.

Data Analytics

• Coordinate, organize and analyse institutional data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

• Conduct environmental scans and basic market/sector analysis with supervision to inform decision-making.

• Translate data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Engage internal and external stakeholders to gather inputs and validate findings.

• Support efforts to build buy-in for new processes, tools, and strategic initiatives.

• Facilitate discussions and presentations to communicate insights and proposals.

Others

• Perform other related duties as assigned e.g. provide administrative support to Board Secretariat when necessary.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2-3 years of relevant working experience in strategy, analytics and operations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Adept at working with data and familiar with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).

• Proficient Microsoft Office and possesses intermediate to advanced excel skills.

• Meticulous, with strong attention to detail and ability to follow through with multiple iterations of work.

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders on strategic matters.

• Experience in process improvement or digitalization projects and knowledge of local education/early childhood sector will be an advantage,

The Role

We are looking for a Business Process Executive to support our Strategic Finance Manager across HR, operations, and general administration. You will be involved in HR administration, payroll support, process documentation, and day-to-day operational tasks. Over time, you will take on broader responsibility as you get familiar with how the business runs. The right person is not afraid to ask questions, picks things up quickly, and brings ideas to the table without being asked.

What You Will Do

HR & Payroll Administration

•     Support monthly payroll processing and verify calculations before submission

•     Handle work pass applications, renewals, and related MOM submissions

•     Maintain employee records and ensure data is accurate and up to date

•     Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and leave administration

•     Help ensure HR practices are in line with the Employment Act and CPF regulations

Process & Documentation

•     Document how things are currently done — then help improve them

•     Write clear, simple SOPs so processes do not depend on any one person

•     Flag issues or inconsistencies when you spot them, and suggest a fix

•     Support the team in reducing manual and repetitive tasks over time

Finance Administration

•     Assist with accounts payable and receivable — tracking invoices, following up on outstanding payments, and ensuring timely processing

•     Review outgoing invoices to ensure they are accurate, complete, and compliant before submission to clients

•     Maintain proper filing of all invoices and supporting documents for audit and GST purposes

•     Flag discrepancies or missing documentation to the manager before they become issues

General Administration & Support

•     Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Strategic Finance Manager

•     Help maintain filing systems, trackers, and internal documents

•     Assist with preparing reports, summaries, and correspondence as needed

•     Pick up ad-hoc tasks across HR, operations, and finance as the role grows

•     Familiar with CPF, MOM work pass processes, and basic Employment Act requirements

•     Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot in daily work — not just aware of them, but actually using them

•     Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks without needing to be chased

Job Responsibilities: 

• Process SAP accounting workflows in accordance with Business Process Control guidelines
• Verify supporting documents such as sales and purchase delivery notes and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance before posting transactions into the accounting systems 
• Execute month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including accurate entries for sales, purchases, and non-operating items, by applying the Closing Process Checklist to ensure completeness 
• Review and verify vendor and customer bank account applications, and provide clarification for third-party or cross-border payments when required 
• Systematically process 500 to 1000 workflows per month and maintain good communication flow with accounting members 

Job Requirements 

• Prior experience in both AP and AR
• Degree in Accounting (or its equivalent)
• Prior SAP experience would be advantageous 
• Detailed-focus and team player

Additional Information: 

• Working Location: Shenton Way MRT, CBD 
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.45am - 5.15pm 
• 6 months contract 
• Salary: $3500 - $3800
• Transport Allowance: $110 monthly
