Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Networking
• Reaching out to existing adviser network to refer qualified and productive advisers to the Company
2. Agency & Cluster Performance
• Partner T2/T3 leaders to drive production growth and professionalism across assigned clusters or segments.
• Engage managers regularly to reinforce activity discipline and execution standards, and identify early signals relating to productivity or conduct risks, working with relevant teams before escalation.
2. Sales Campaign Strategy & Execution
• Design and execute sales and business growth campaigns and initiatives, within advisory standards to prevent aggressive sales tactics, and aligned to:
• Company priorities
• Product focus
• Target customer segments (e.g. mass affluent, HNW, protection gaps)
• Partner teams and specialists to:
• Translate product features into advisor-relevant selling angles
• Develop practical sales narratives and positioning
• Design and execute sales campaigns and initiatives in coordination with Product/Fund/Campaign Governance and Training teams, ensuring all campaigns are launched only after governance review
• Ensure campaigns align with approved products, funds, model portfolios, advisory standards, and customer risk profiles
• Translate campaign objectives into clear field propositions, mechanics, and execution guidelines
• Manage campaign timelines, rollout plans, and post-campaign follow-through
3. New Business Growth & Momentum
• Drive new business production growth, including:
• Case count
• Case size
• Product mix (e.g. protection, ILP, savings)
• Support agency leaders and managers in building sustained sales momentum, not one-off spikes
• Identify growth opportunities within existing advisor base and priority cohorts
4. Advisor & Manager Enablement
• Work with Business Development and Training teams to:
• Equip advisors with campaign tools, sales materials, and talking points
• Support managers in driving campaign adoption and execution discipline
• Reinforce sales quality, suitability, and compliance awareness in all campaigns
5. Campaign Performance & Optimisation
• Track campaign performance metrics including:
• Participation rates
• Conversion and hit rates
• New business uplift
• Conduct post-campaign reviews to identify:
• What worked
• What did not
• Required refinements
• Continuously improve campaign effectiveness and relevance
6. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination
• Act as the primary coordinator between various departments, for success of campaigns
• Ensure campaigns are operationally executable and compliant before field rollout
Requirements:
• 4–8 years’ experience in life insurance, financial advisory, or agency distribution
• Background in one or more of the following:
• Sales campaigns
• Product marketing
• Distribution strategy
• Business development
• Strong understanding of:
• Agency sales dynamics
• Advisor behaviour and motivation
• Product-led selling (especially protection and ILP)
• Results-oriented, practical, and field-aware

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to promote growth in business and number of advisers through various initiatives and engagements, with a focus on marketing / incentive campaigns. The role will be working within a team and reporting to a Director.
