To lead this growth, we are seeking a highly connected and results-driven Business Development Manager (Process Construction) who can open doors, build partnerships, and secure profitable projects.
The Role
You will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and winning subcontract or joint venture opportunities in Singapore’s process construction sector. Your primary focus will be on high-profitability niches including:
Cleanroom construction & modular systems
Biopharma / GMP facility fit-outs
Data center cooling & M&E infrastructure
Specialty industrial coating & insulation
You will leverage your existing network with EPC contractors, main contractors, and plant owners to build a strong project pipeline and drive revenue growth.

What You Will Do
Lead Generation
Identify and track upcoming tenders from BCA, GeBIZ, and private developers. Focus on high-value projects in Jurong Island, Tuas Biomedical Park, and other key industrial zones.
Client Acquisition
Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers at EPC firms (e.g., PEC Ltd., Rotary Engineering), main contractors (e.g., Kajima, Gammon, L&K Engineering), and plant owners (e.g., Pfizer, WuXi Biologics, ExxonMobil).
Tender Management
Lead end-to-end proposal development, including cost estimation, technical writing, and compliance with BCA / CoreTrade requirements.
Contract Negotiation
Negotiate commercial terms, contract types (lump sum, unit rate, turnkey), and ensure a smooth handover to project delivery teams.
Pipeline & Reporting
Maintain a live opportunity pipeline, track KPIs (win rate, contract value, new clients), and provide regular market intelligence to senior management.
What We Are Looking For
Essential Experience & Network
8–12 years of business development or technical sales experience in Singapore’s process construction, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, or data center sectors.
Proven track record of winning projects in at least one high-value niche (e.g., cleanroom M&E, biopharma fit-out, data center infrastructure).
Existing relationships with key decision-makers at EPC contractors, main contractors, or plant owners.
Deep understanding of BCA registration, CoreTrade certifications, and standard contract forms (PSSCOC, SIA, REDAS).
Qualifications
Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical) or Business Administration.
PMP or CoreTrade certification is a strong advantage.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical and costing teams.
