The Software Developer is a key member of the Delivery and Support Group in NETS Solutions and will report to the BAU Support Manager. He/She will participate in the application delivery to customer and will be responsible for application development and PROD L3 software maintenance support.

Key job responsibilities

In this position, the candidate will work closely with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver submarine cable projects across the globe. The candidate should be able to represent and lead for Amazon in deployment and operational meetings, coordinate complex projects spanning several geographies and deliver the project to our high standards. A day in the life

The Subsea Engineering team is responsible for all aspects of submarine network deployment, operation, upgrades and management within AWS. We own the technology roadmap and standards for submarine cable, optical fiber, installation methods, procurement of the optical equipment, RSPC and associated operational models and security postures. We define the contractual framework for all required elements adding capacity that supports the AWS Backbone Network for our customers. • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and accountable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently or supervise project-based tasks when required.

Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing & Production
• Position Title: Application Engineer/Field Support Engineer
• Working Location: Woodlands
• Working Hours: 5 days, Monday – Friday (9am – 6pm)
• Salary Package: Basic + Transport Allowance + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Offer application support for customers, including hardware/software integration and sample code preparation.
• Handle technical support issues through Salesforce case tickets.
• Conduct technical verification of equipment, offer onsite troubleshooting when needed, and provide value-added services.
• Manage product testing and RMA handling within Singapore.
• Serve as a liaison between regional offices and headquarters for technical requirements and escalate advanced support issues.
• Deliver training to sales channel partners and direct customers.
• Develop and prepare technical demonstrations and presentations.
• Support tradeshows and seminars.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
