Job description:

• To support the business expansion in ASEAN, Korea and Japan.
• Drive design-ins of thyristors, MOSFETs, IGBTs, diodes, and other power semiconductor devices.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue new business and design-in opportunities.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers. Propose right devices based on customer's application requirements.
• Provide timely and quality technical support to customers on application and design-related issues.
• Monitor and keep good track record of design-in activities and ensure design-win is achieved.
• Collaborate with Application Engineer team to validate product performance and reliability in customer's applications.
• Initiate and follow up failure analysis when required. Work with internal quality and engineering teams to identify root-cause and countermeasures.
• Contributes to product roadmaps by providing feedback on customer/application requirements and market trends. Work closely with customers and internal teams to develop tailored solutions.
• Conduct technical seminars, product training, and application workshops for distributors, customers and internal teams.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Electronics Industry, with good knowledge of power electronics
• Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin (for effective communication with the China team). Able to fully understand customer’s needs and requirements
• This role may require frequent traveling, including international travels

Responsibilities:

• Design, development, testing and support of firmware/embedded software applications for microcontroller based wireless systems.
• Develop software communication protocols for wireless communication systems
• Drive technology/development projects in all phrases from specification to release.
• Read or understand electronics schematic and system design.
• Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure project delivery on time.
• Define and create product software specification including software architecture, feature descriptions and applications notes of the system
• Research technical issues and/or opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Participate in ad hoc software projects and assignments as required

Requirements:

• Degree in Electronic/Electrical/Computer Engineering/Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in real time embedded system including experience in Bluetooth related firmware/software development.
• Strong C/C++ language knowledge is a must
• Experience with Arm, Cortex based microcontroller and Airoha Bluetooth chipset is required
• Strong Knowledge of the communication transport protocol like I2C, SPI, UART and USB
• Understanding of the Bluetooth protocol and stack is a plus.
• Familiarity with DSP programming is an added advantage
• Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Able to manage one's own time efficiently
