KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Partnership & Business Alignment:Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to Van Cleef & Arpels business unit leaders and managers, including the Managing Director, understanding their business goals, challenges, and priorities within the SEA market.Actively develop and implement the People strategy for Van Cleef & Arpels SEA, aligning with the Maison’s Yearly & Long-term Plans in close collaboration with the SEA EXCO. This includes crafting relevant people plans and organisational structures to proactively support and enable the Maison's growth ambitions in the region.Translate business strategies into actionable HR initiatives and programs that support organisational growth and performance.Participate in Van Cleef & Arpels business unit planning and strategy meetings to ensure HR is proactively integrated into business decisions.Provide insights and recommendations on organisational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies to optimise business performance.

• Talent Management & Development:Collaborate with business leaders to identify current and future talent needs, developing and implementing strategies for talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning specific to the luxury retail environment.Lead annual HR activities such as performance management cycles, talent reviews, and succession planning processes. Provide close advisory and consultation to the Managing Director, SEA EXCO, and other leaders, ensuring alignment and effective execution.Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, regular feedback, performance reviews, and development plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives and Maison values.Develop talents in partnership with the Training Manager, HQ, and the broader Richemont Talent function. This involves identifying training and development needs within the business unit and collaborating to design and deliver effective programs that foster continuous learning and growth.Support career development and mobility initiatives for employees, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

• Employee Relations & Engagement:As an ambassador of the Maison, ensure the candidate and employee experience is consistently aligned to Van Cleef & Arpels' unique culture and values, such as teamwork, savoir-faire, and sustainability. This involves embedding these values throughout the employee lifecycle, from recruitment to daily interactions.Establish and manage strong relationships and engagement with employees at all levels within SEA. Foster an open, inclusive, and positive work environment.Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on complex employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, grievances, and investigations, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and adherence to local labour laws.Partner and guide people managers on all employee relations topics, providing expert advice and support to resolve issues effectively and maintain a harmonious workplace.Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and retention, reflecting Van Cleef & Arpels' commitment to its people.

• Organisational Development & Change Management:Support organisational design efforts within SEA, ensuring alignment with business strategy and optimal efficiency.Lead and support change management initiatives, helping employees and leaders navigate transitions effectively, with a focus on maintaining Maison culture and employee well-being.Facilitate team effectiveness and leadership development programs.Lead and participate in Richemont HR transversal projects, contributing to group-wide HR initiatives such as elevating feedback culture, fostering diversity & inclusion, or other strategic HR transformations.

• Compensation & Benefits:Partner with the Richemont Compensation & Benefits team to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices for SEA.Lead the annual salary review process, providing close advisory and consultation to the MD, EXCO, and leaders. Advise managers on salary reviews, promotions, and incentive programs, ensuring alignment with company policies, market benchmarks, and the Maison's financial guidelines.Manage people costs in consultation with the HR Cost Planning and Finance team, ensuring effective budget management and resource allocation for the SEA business unit.Communicate benefits programs and policies to employees, addressing questions and concerns.

• HR Policy & Compliance:​Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and practices across the SEA business unit, adhering to local labour laws and Richemont Group guidelines.Stay informed of changes in employment legislation and best practices across the SEA region, advising management on potential impacts and necessary adjustments.Maintain accurate HR records and data, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

• Data Analytics & Reporting:Utilise HR metrics and analytics to identify trends, diagnose organisational issues, and inform strategic HR decisions for SEA.Prepare and present reports on key HR indicators (e.g., turnover, engagement, diversity) to business leaders and SEA EXCO, providing actionable insights.

Requirements :

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is highly desirable.
• 8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HR Business Partner role within the luxury retail or a similar high-end service industry.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Manager - Talent Acquisition & HR Operations to lead end‑to‑end recruitment and HR service delivery in a dynamic, client‑focused environment. This role is critical in driving business outcomes through high‑quality hiring, operational excellence, strong governance, and people leadership - particularly within staff augmentation and HR service delivery models.

The role partners closely with internal stakeholders and external clients, ensuring scalable, compliant, and outcome‑driven HR and recruitment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Talent Acquisition Leadership

We are looking for a hands-on Talent Development professional to build and drive foundational development capabilities in a growing and evolving organisation.

This is a standalone individual contributor role for someone who is comfortable building from a relatively greenfield starting point. The role focuses on development strategy, framework-building, and capability development across different staff groups, rather than training administration, course coordination, or routine learning operations.

You will work closely with HR leadership to shape practical talent development structures that support organisational growth, capability-building, and future talent pipeline needs. This includes building career roadmaps, development pathways, manager-readiness support, and selected internship, scholarship, and traineeship frameworks, while also contributing to development-related process and systems design.

This role is best suited for someone with strong Learning & Development and/or Talent Development depth who has personally built frameworks and programmes in a medium to large organisation, and who is comfortable operating in a governance-heavy environment with evolving processes and system migration considerations.

Requirements

• Around 8 to 10 years of relevant Learning & Development and/or Talent Development experience is strongly preferred
• Candidates with 6 to 7 years may be considered only if they demonstrate strong end-to-end builder depth, framework ownership, and credible complexity exposure
• Proven experience designing and implementing development frameworks, pathways, or programmes rather than mainly coordinating training operations
• Strong exposure to medium or large organisations with meaningful policy, stakeholder, and process complexity
• Demonstrated ability to work in low-structure or evolving environments and build from the ground up
• Experience partnering stakeholders on development strategy, process alignment, and practical implementation
• Experience with internship, scholarship, traineeship, leadership development, career development, or capability-building frameworks will be advantageous
• Exposure to HR systems, process improvement, or system migration work will be advantageous
• Workday exposure is a plus but not mandatory
• Background from education, healthcare, or other governance-heavy environments can be advantageous
