Our Client, an established & trusted automotive brand, is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position as Claims Admin Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the time flow for preparation of estimates

• Assist claim administrator

• Typing of GIA reports

• Submission of the first claims to insurances

• Other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• N level and above

• 1 year relevant experience as a Claims Admin Assistant

• Microsoft Office knowledge would be preferred

1. Finance/Accounting for Funds and Companies

-       Performfull spectrum of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger for company entities

-       Preparefinancial and management reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow Statements)

-       Coordinate with Fundadministrators and review on their fund accounting and financial reporting

-       Prepare, review andcoordinate accounts with offshore accountants

-       Manage audit of accounts

-       Support and advise oninvestment structuring for tax and accounting purposes

-       Review quarterly GST andannual tax by tax agents

-       Monitor and prepareperformance of the funds to share with the respective stakeholders

-       Handle related matters for fund set up includingincorporation of entities, opening of bank accounts, investors/serviceproviders onboarding, application of related tax incentives/schemes

-       Manage fund operations matters including capital calls,distributions

-       Support and advise on investment structuring for tax andaccounting purposes

-       Assist with the preparation of investor drawdowns anddistributions

-       Preparation and tracking of loan compliance covenants

-       Prepare/review quarterly investor reportingquestionnaires/reporting for fund entities

-       Payment management

2. Cash management

-       Review monthly payments

-       Manage cashflow, depositsand FX

3. Oversee corporate secretarial work for local and overseasentities

4. Coordinate KYCs and AMLs on incoming and ongoing clients

5. Compliance

-       MAS compliance reporting

-       IRAS annual CRS &FATCA reporting for funds

For this role, you will be in charge of financial accounting, including month end reporting and analysis.

The key duties and responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):

-       In charge of Financial Accounting and overall financial book closing

-       Approval of invoices in the accounting system after users’ verification

-       Accrual of monthly expenses

-       Payment processing

-       Intercompany Billing

-       Month end financial reporting pack for management, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow reporting and analysis

-       Preparation of monthly financial schedules

-       Preparation of half yearly audit requirements, including audit schedules and liaising with external auditors

-       Admin related work of the Finance department

-       Any other adhoc duties as assigned

The candidate should possess the below qualities to fulfil the needs of the role:

-       Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or ACCA

-       Qualified Accountant, CPA or CA preferred

-       Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting firm and/or MNCs

-       Self-starter, self-motivated and positive, organized, hands-on, meticulous, resourceful and able to work independently.

-       Able to effectively manage time and to meet tight deadlines.

-       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

-       Good verbal and written communication skills.

-       Able to work as a team.
