We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity engineering leader to lead the Cyber Technology Support (CTS) function and drive its evolution towards a scalable, engineering‑driven and intelligence‑led operating model.

What you do

Stabilise operations and drive consistency across incident, problem, and change management processes.

Establish clear accountability, ownership models, and escalation paths.

Lead CTS engagement in solution evaluation, design review, testing, and onboarding of new cybersecurity capabilities.

Continuously uplift engineering practices, documentation, and runbooks.

Lead CTS to transition into intelligence-led and engineering-driven platform capabilities

Ensure CTS services are aligned with regulatory requirements (e.g., MAS TRM) and internal policy expectations.

Support audit preparation through consistent controls, evidence readiness, and operational transparency.

Contributes to development and reporting of KRIs, service metrics, and control effectiveness indicators for senior management.

Who you are

15+ years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably within banking, financial services, or large regulated enterprises.

Proven experience leading cybersecurity engineering, cyber defense, or security platform teams at scale.

Strong background across enterprise security domains such as SIEM, endpoint, network, cloud, and data security platforms.

Demonstrated experience driving automation, orchestration, and operational uplift.

Familiarity with detection engineering, threat-driven security, or intelligence-led operating models is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of regulatory, audit, and compliance environments (e.g., MAS, HKMA).

Proven ability to balance operational stability with transformation and modernisation initiatives.

This role will be responsible for managing qualification activities, supporting change control and validation processes, and ensuring equipment compliance throughout the equipment lifecycle. The successful candidate will work closely with Quality, Validation, Engineering, and Laboratory teams to support operational readiness, documentation compliance, and project execution for laboratory equipment systems.

Your missions

• Manage qualification activities for QC laboratory equipment in accordance with GMP validation and change control processes
• Support and manage decommissioning activities for QC equipment following approved procedures and compliance requirements
• Define project strategies, implementation plans, timelines, and coordination activities for qualification and decommissioning projects
• Coordinate qualification lifecycle activities including installation, operational, and performance qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) where applicable
• Support deviations, investigations, CAPA, and change control activities related to laboratory equipment and qualification processes
• Author and maintain SOPs, qualification protocols, reports, risk assessments, and training materials
• Review qualification and validation documentation to ensure compliance with GMP and site quality requirements
• Collaborate closely with QC, Validation, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and external vendors to ensure timely project execution
• Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and data integrity practices for laboratory equipment systems
• Support equipment integration activities where applicable (e.g., LabX connectivity and laboratory data systems)
• Track project milestones, risks, action items, and implementation progress to ensure delivery within timelines

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related disciplines
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in supporting qualification, validation, commissioning, or lifecycle management activities within GMP-regulated manufacturing environments
• Exposure to QC laboratory equipment qualification and validation processes
• Understanding of GMP documentation, validation lifecycle, change control, deviation, and CAPA processes
• Experience authoring qualification protocols, reports, SOPs, or validation documentation
• Familiarity with analytical or laboratory equipment such as continuous flow analysers, nitrogen analysers, TOC systems, gas generators, analytical balances, microbalances, or similar laboratory instrumentation would be an advantage
• Exposure to laboratory system integration platforms such as LabX or related laboratory software systems is preferred
• Strong coordination, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work within structured quality and compliance environments
• Able to manage multiple activities and timelines within project-based environments

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and system requirements to identify test scenarios, impacts, and quality risks across enterprise applications.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Validate end-to-end business processes across UI, API, database, and backend systems to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.
• Prepare detailed test cases, test data, and test evidence while maintaining complete testing documentation.
• Perform API and database validation to ensure seamless integration between multiple applications and services.
• Support release validation activities, production deployments, and post-implementation verification.
• Investigate application issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects.
• Participate in defect triage meetings and manage defects through their lifecycle using standard tracking tools.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and regression coverage.
• Monitor application performance and support production incident analysis to ensure service stability.
• Work closely with business users, product owners, developers, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, testing standards, and quality assurance best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in Avaloq core banking systems with exposure to implementation, testing, and production support.
• Strong experience in Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.
• Hands-on experience in API testing and database validation using SQL.
• Experience validating complex business workflows and transaction-based applications.
• Knowledge of test planning, test case design, defect management, and release validation processes.
• Experience with defect tracking and project management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to test automation using tools such as Playwright and scripting languages such as Python.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience supporting production issues, incident analysis, and application releases is preferred.
• Exposure to banking, financial services, enterprise platforms, or large-scale transactional systems will be an added advantage.
