Responsibilities: 

• Support the build and modification of prototype units, including electrical harnessing, mechanical assembly, and part rework.

• Assemble PCBs, including soldering surface-mount and through-hole components. Perform expert-level rework, including fine-pitch components and BGA packages.

• Assemble complex test setups involving electrical wiring, fluid plumbing, and mechanical integration. Ensure setups are robust, repeatable, and safe.

• Collaborate with design, validation, and reliability engineers to support test planning, execution, and troubleshooting. Provide feedback to improve product design and test efficiency.

• Perform electrical and mechanical testing on high-voltage power converters, following detailed test procedures and safety protocols.

• Interpret engineering drawings and schematics to support builds.

• Own organization, cleanliness, and safety of the lab space. Ensure all tools, equipment, and test stations are calibrated, functional, and compliant with safety standards.

• Coordinate ordering, receiving, and tracking of components and consumables. Maintain inventory of critical lab supplies and test equipment

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent hands-on experience.

• 3+ years in a lab or R&D environment, preferably working with high-voltage or power electronics systems.

• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

• Basic mechanical aptitude - comfortable with plumbing, fluid systems (e.g., chillers, pumps), assembling enclosures and fixtures.

Work Experience

• Experience in Software usage for Piping material quantity estimate, Procurement planning, CaesarII, E3D, Navis etc. material traceability and delivery to site.
• Experience in Norwegian projects and applicants experience tothe relevant standards, NCS and UKCS sectors preferred.
• Must have had prior work experience with medium/large sized brownfield and green field projects in the Oil and Gas sector with similar roles and possess an excellent understanding of project phases, milestones, and deliverables.

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for developing printable inks based on natural material-derived precursors, such as natural materials-derived calcium phosphate, or related biomineral materials. The work will involve optimizing ink rheology, printability, shape fidelity, and structural stability for extrusion-based 3D printing. The candidate will also design and fabricate porous scaffold architectures with controlled pore size, porosity, and interconnectivity, while optimizing printing parameters such as nozzle size, extrusion pressure, printing speed, and layer height.

A key part of the project will involve post-processing and material conversion of the printed constructs. The candidate will develop and optimize sintering or thermal treatment protocols to convert printed structures into bone-relevant ceramic phases. Through this process, the candidate will help tune the phase composition and mechanical performance of the scaffolds, with the goal of producing reproducible and scalable bone implant prototypes.

Job Description

• Lead and perform tasks in RTL synthesis, floor planning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, and physical verification.
• Manage signoff activities including Static Timing Analysis (STA), EMIR, and Physical Verification (PV) to ensure tape out-quality designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DFT, RTL, STA, Packaging) to drive seamless integration and execution.
• Plan, monitor, and execute project execution, set deadlines, track milestones, and report progress to leadership.
• Guide, mentor, and develop the team, fostering technical excellence and a collaborative environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design challenges, proactively communicating risks and mitigation strategies.
• Interface with EDA vendors and keep up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and methodologies.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, document processes, and contribute to organizational knowledge base.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in physical design, including synthesis, PNR, STA, EMIR, and PV is a plus.
• Strong expertise with EDA tools: Synopsys, Cadence, or Siemens (e.g., Design Compiler, IC Compiler, Fusion Compiler, Genus, Innovus, PrimeTime, Voltus, Calibre).
• Proven track record of successful tapeouts for complex semiconductor products.
• Solid understanding of power, performance, area (PPA) optimization techniques.
• Excellent project management skills, including resource planning, task tracking, and team leadership.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to present technical material and interact confidently with cross-functional teams.
• Experience leading and mentoring engineers.
• Familiarity with advanced process nodes (3nm, 2nm)

Role Description

The Engineering Delivery Management (EDM) role is focused ontechnical management of all engineering activities.  They provide direction,guidance, expert advice, mentoring, support, audit, and workflowmanagement(tasking prioritization and resource coordination) in support of achievingproject objectives and milestones in accordance with the approvedschedule.  The EDM will manage a multi-skilled team which may includesystem, software, integration, V&V and infrastructure engineers to provideon time delivery of services and support for systems and/or sub-systems ofproducts, or for projects, across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Technical Direction

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers to deliver engineering solutions ensuring team capabilities align with customer expectations.
• Provide direction, expert advice, mentoring, and workflow management, including task prioritization and resource coordination, to achieve project objectives and milestones.
• Provide technical guidance to engineering teams in line with the agreed architecture, ensuring both effectiveness and adherence to customer requirements.
• Provide functional encompassing the Thales Performance Management framework management for reporting delivery roles
• Promote knowledge sharing, ensuring work products are sufficiently documented for reuse across projects.

Project & ProcessManagement

• Oversee the timely delivery of artifacts and releases in line with program milestones.
• Facilitate and lead technical reviews, workshops, peer reviews, and project reviews as required by the program.
• Ensure delivery in accordance with Thales processes and practices, actively contributing to their continuous improvement
• Support discipline managers in defining and tailoring applicable processes, practices, and tools for the project

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Communicate, analyse, plan, and report as necessary to align team capabilities with customer requirements
• Ensure clear and effective communication (both written and verbal) with internal and external customers
• Manage customer scope in line with the approved baseline and schedule
• Manage customer expectations and provide support during requirements analysis, proposing and negotiating mutually beneficial (“win-win”) solutions

Risk, Quality & Reporting

• Identify and assess risks, propose effective solutions, execute mitigation actions, and report on outcomes, cost savings, and residual risks
• Define and maintain metrics to monitor progress, measure performance, identify issues early, and support informed decision-making to ensure successful delivery
• Prepare and lead monthly Technical and Financial Reviews (TFR) sessions and support the Work Package review process

Commercial & Bid Support

• Support bid activities and contribute to the preparation and review of engineering cost estimates for modification proposals to the functional baseline

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Qualifications

·       Degreein Engineering, Computer Science, IT or other relevant qualification

Essential Experience

·       Solid experience of managing the development of real time distributed complex software centric solutions in a safety critical environment (10+ years)

·       A recognized leader with solid experience in managing multi-skilled global engineering teams and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment

·       Solid knowledge and experience in Systems Engineering lifecycle (eg. EIA632,ISO/IEC15288)

·       Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders across a complex environment

·       Solid experience in upskilling and training new engineers

·       Strong experience using Earned Value Management, Work Package Control and reporting, with exposure to scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera etc.)

·       Financial/budgetary management of engineering work packages or tasks

·       Strong ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including Project, Engineering Delivery Managers, Product Owners, Technical Design Authorities, Specialty engineers and the engineering team under management.

·       Collaboration tools including Jira, Confluence etc.

Desirable:

·       Air Traffic Management domain expertise (inc. standards such as ICAO, Eurocontrol, AIDC)

·       Experience in product delivery using agile methodologies like Lean methods (including PDCA, Kanban, Value-Stream Mapping).  Prior experience working in an Agile Scale framework is a bonus
