Job Summary:

Selected candidates will get the opportunity to work as Electronic Design Engineer on the design and production of our Next Generation subsea robotics products.

We are transitioning from our industry standard, human operated, hydraulic underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) towards a highly autonomous ROV supervised from one of our remote operating centres.

The innovation electronic engineer will work in a team of experienced engineers on the ROV control system, working closely together with oversees R&D centres, internal production teams and global operational teams.

Development of Control system includes:

• Microcontroller, digital, analog, high speed circuitry design from conceptual to working product.
• Simple software programming in the area of peripheral configuration, device driver, test program to facilitate hardware validation.
• Liaise with production department to ensure products are manufactured to the highest quality standard.
• Travel to any part of the world in short notice to provide system support, integration, commissioning and training.  

Requirements:

Job Summary

Perform Manufacturing Engineering activities within Engine Overhaul and Component Repair production areas. Act as the Technical Authority, ensuring the initial and ongoing capability of production methods to consistently produce conforming products, and driving the resolution of technical issues, problems, and deviations to meet business and customer requirements in safety, cost, delivery rate, and lead time (SQCD). • Design, develop and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixturing and associated processes; enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies; establish standards across operational processes; serve as a technical expert on specialized projects or programs

Minimum Qualifications: 

• PhD/ Master/ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

• 7-10 years of relevant experiences in semiconductor equipment design or troubleshooting experiences

• Subject-matter expertise with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis and/or Design for Excellence principles 

• Proficient in simulation and analysis methods (FEA, thermal analysis and tolerance analysis)

• Strong in the following fields: Thermal, Compressible flow, Engineering Design, Machining & manufacturing processes

• Ability to craft clear engineering documentation

• Ability to form effective cross-functional relationships and to communicate product design/mechanical requirements clearly to non-experts

Job Description

Role Responsibilities: 

• Design, collect data, analyze, and compile reports on a wide range of complex process engineering experiments for multiple products

• Utilize techniques, define methods, and apply new technologies to characterize hardware, and/or perform hardware characterization on a high number of complex systems for multiple products

• Generate internal and external documentation for products, presentations, technical reports and create process engineering specifications

• Develop, plan, and execute process engineering projects, within safety guidelines

• Train engineers in measurement techniques of film properties and guide them in the interpretation of the data, new methodologies, troubleshooting techniques and issue resolution

• Communicate and engage with customers to resolve a broad spectrum of complex process engineering issues, with limited supervision

• Design and implement new technology, products, and analytical instrumentation

• Identify, select, and partner with vendors and suppliers with limited to no supervision

• Lead functional teams or projects, as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
