Job Description
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, candidate will be responsible to carry out all administrative and operational duties through:
· Attending to patients and family members, preparation of inpatient admission documents and arrangement for appropriate personnel to attend to patients.
· Preparation of discharge documents; obtaining follow-up appointments; planned admission listing and notifying relevant parties on patient's discharge and dispatch documents/forms/notes.
· Handling enquiries and requests from patients, patient's relatives, visitors, colleagues and the public.
· Performing clerical duties required for ward operations and cross-covering of wards
· Assisting to update patient's information, ward charges, patient diets, porter requests and housekeeper requests into computer system.
· Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Diploma in any discipline/GCE ‘A’/’O’/'N' level/Higher NITEC in Business Studies/NITEC in Service Skills
· Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality or customer service industry will be advantageous
· Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
· Have healthcare and SAP experiences would be an added value
· 5 days work week (Monday to Friday, 8.15 am to 5.30 pm) & 1half Saturday (8.00am to 1.00pm) a month
