Job Summary

Prepare and paint walls and surfaces by scraping, filling cracks, mixing paint, and applying finishes to meet quality standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare walls and surfaces by scraping, sanding, and removing old paint to ensure proper adhesion of new coatings
• Fill cracks and holes with appropriate materials such as plaster to create smooth surfaces
• Mix paint and other materials to achieve the correct color and texture according to project requirements
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, caulking guns, and other tools following instructions
• Calculate painting costs and negotiate prices to support project budgeting and client agreements
• Follow all health and safety precautions to maintain a safe work environment
• Use manual dexterity and balance to work safely on scaffolding, ladders, and other elevated platforms

Required competencies and certifications

• Proven experience as a painter demonstrating ability to complete painting tasks effectively
• Knowledge of painting materials, including selection, mixing, and application techniques
• Understanding of commercial and/or construction painting methods
• Ability to use painting tools such as brushes and caulking guns with precision
• Physical ability to maintain balance and manual dexterity while working at heights

TCA Design & Build is a design-and-build firm for high-end Singapore landed residential projects. We design, manage, and build everything under one roof. We need a Resident Architect who understands landed residential from to site — not just from concept to render.

You will be the internal design and control owner. You will ensure every drawing that leaves TCA's office is ready, coordination-complete, and construction-usable.

What you will own:
Drawing review and issue for construction. Coordination with external QP and PE. Authority tracking and document preparation. Drawing clash review before site release. Design intent protection during construction. Client design presentation support. RFI management between site and consultants.

What you must bring:
Minimum 6–8 years experience. Singapore landed residential experience is non-negotiable — URA, BCA, SCDF, and the full sequence from planning permission to TOP. Ability to review a full drawing set and identify what is missing before the QP sees it. Confidence to push back on a consultant. BOA registration or QP eligibility is a significant advantage.

You will not be a fit if:
Your work stops at design development and renders. You have never tracked a landed house from start to TOP. You do not know what a QP needs before they can stamp. Your experience is condo, commercial, or institutional only.

• Drive and lead analysis & design, solution validation, workshops under assigned domain to ensure consistent and complete requirement and solution coverage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science /Information Technology / Programming & Systems Analysis/Science (Computer Studies).
• 8 - 13 years of experience in the Financial Technology (Wealth Management, Core Banking), Avaloq preferred.
• Good Knowledge of Financial and Global Market Regulations.
• Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
• Knowledge of Trading, Middle Office, and BackOffice platforms such as Bloomberg, Avaloq, FinIQ, will be beneficial.
