Job Description

• Responsible for full set of accounting & finance related responsibilities.
• Some production accounting experience for costings purposes would be advantages. Highly suitable for accountants looking for production related experience as well as looking to develop leadership skills.
• Basic consolidation and reconciliation of accounts, prepare accurate and timely month end closing reports and necessary schedules.
• Some HR, IT and Administration experience, will be coupled with the role and able to think strategically to work the team and the Director to formulate growth plans for the company.
• Work closely with external auditors, bankers, regulators and stakeholders.
• Able to work independently and ability to translate various business and functions into an evolving accounting view, like investments to cash flows, inventory and production related overviews.
• Strategic thinking with a Team player attitude and be the expert of the Microsoft Navision system and develop relevant users including production modules.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree / Professional Degree in Accountancy and a great passion for reconciling accounts, analysis for organizations financial transactions. Have leadership abilities and looking to grow and develop qualities of supporting a team in global business environment.
• At least 5 years of direct working experience in the related field is required for this position. Excellent Excel skills and ability to do production costing models to budgeting & forecast.
• Those having experience in Administration & HR or some experience in sourcing and generating POs for purchasing, will be a high advantage, else having a high appetite in gaining knowledge especially in the HR scope of a production orientated organization.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Navision is preferred, operate accounting information systems efficiently and effectively. Have the ability to be lead user of system and develop and guide supporting colleagues on the financial elements.
• Participate in budgeting / forecasting activities and providing accurate and timely tax / financial reports to relevant authorities.
• Great attitude team player and personality to be groom for leading expertise, well organized multi-tasker, fast learner with great detailed orientation, great drive of independence and pleasant personality to work across the young team. Job Description Summary

To plan, execute and deliver high quality audits that meet Novartis Internal Audit (IA) methodology standards, strategies and directives. To lead audit teams in activities including assessment of business/information technology risks and evaluation of related internal controls.

Key Requirements:

• Lead effective audit teams throughout assignments in countries and functional areas taking responsibility for the team members, including delivering on-boarding and coaching to new team members and guest auditors to provide technical support and feedback.
• Participate in audit engagements as a team member or as a team leader and ensure thorough execution of engagements in accordance with the Novartis Internal Audit methodology including comprehensive risk assessment, review/testing of audit procedures including design and execution.
• Identify root causes of control issues and investigate, analyse and test possible solutions or measures for improvement. Prepare high quality audit reports and review and agree issues with responsible management.
• Mastering key company policies that Internal Audit provides assurance on, including their implementing guidelines and procedures.
• Apply effective project management to audit assignments in order to deliver work which meets quality standards, deadlines and the expectations of stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain key-contact relationships with local management in assigned countries and/or functional area(s) of responsibility to support the Regional Head Internal Audit (RHIA) in assessing risk across the region and developing the annual audit plan.
• Lead the risk-prioritized planning of standard operational audits and support audit managers and the Regional Head of internal audit in the planning of more complex audits on enterprise risks without pre-defined control frameworks.
• Build effective business partnering and advisory relationships with senior management on the audit and with managers in the relevant functions, while maintaining the independence and objectivity of self, team and the Internal Audit function.
• Perform special projects and lead initiatives to improve the technical and operational effectiveness of the audit group.
• Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt -Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable).

Purpose of Role:

To lead and execute risk-based internal audit engagements, provide independent assurance on governance, risk management, and internal control effectiveness, drive compliance and improvements across business processes. The role includes engaging internal stakeholders to conduct audits, enhancing audit methodologies, and supporting organisational compliance and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Internal Audits: Lead and execute internal audit assignments in accordance with the annual audit plan.
2. Develop Annual Plan for Internal Audits: Develop detailed annual internal audit programs using a risk-based approach; present plan to management and internal departments to gain buy-in and management approval.
3. Assessment for Compliance: Evaluate internal control adequacy and effectiveness across financial, operational, and compliance areas against ISO standards and other industry benchmarks, and against established company Standard Operating Procedures.
4. Management Reporting and Follow-up : Prepare high-quality audit reports with insights, findings, and practical recommendations. Present audit findings to management and support remediation planning.
5. Remediation Monitoring: Monitor status of audit issues and validate closure of action plans. Provide updates to management on the status of remediation plans.
6. Support of External Audits: Plan, coordinate and facilitate audits by external parties, including Corporate Internal Audits, ISO Certification Audits.
7. Support of Internal Investigation: Coordinate and plan for internal investigations initiated by management for serious accidents and incidents.
8. Continuous Improvements: Enhance audit tools, templates, and methodologies, including the use of digitalization and AI for improved consistency and efficiency.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards (IIA Standards) and best practices.
• Knowledge and experience in Internal Management System such as ISO 9000 and other Management Systems like ISO 45000 & ISO14000 etc.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools for audit testing and insights (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
• Ability to interpret financial and operational data to identify control gaps and process risks.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or related fields, with at least 2 years in a supervisory and/or leadership capacity.
• Experience as Internal Auditors or Internal Investigators for Incidents and Board Of Inquiries are welcome

Education, Qualifications and Special Training

• Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Business, or Engineering

1. To plan and perform risk identification that has potential threat in organization goals & objectives or smooth running the operations such as financial, operational, compliance, etc 
2. To plan and perform risks analysis based on their probability & effect. 
3. To establish risk mitigation plan with process owners to reduce or remove these risks.

7. To drive and establish BCM program and Recovery Plan for the region to ensure business continuity in the event of crisis.  
8. To drive and maintain Enterprise Risk Management to ensure risks are monitored and mitigated.  
9. To assess risk environment and effectiveness of the risk management activities periodically due the dynamic nature or new risks. 
   

Requirements

• Good diploma/ degree in Legal, Accountancy, Finance or Business Administration. 

• Candidates hold a MSc in Risk Management or professional certifications such as PRM (Professional Risk Manager) will be advantage.  

• Min. 3 years of experience in implementing risk framework and management system. 

• Experience in facilitating dialogues, processes and decisions with cross functional senior stakeholder. 

• Strong knowledge and understanding of internal controls, risk management and governance, auditing techniques and methodologies. 

• Excellent communication and report writing skills. 

• Good interpersonal and analytical skills. 

Description & Requirements

Responsible for maintaining the accounts of various entities

· Maintain full set of accounts

· Proper and timely accounting transactions in Xero accounting system including processing of AP/AR, receipts and accounting entries

· TT online banking and issue cheques

· Monthly payroll & CPF submission

· Bank reconciliations, staff expense claim & supplier payments

· Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements

· Responsible for corporate tax and quarterly GST submission

- Knowledge of simple corporate secretarial duties eg. GST filing, New company name check, Corp Pass matters

- Develop and maintain a filing system

- Submit and reconcile expense reports and claims

- Carry out administrative duties such as filing, data entry, scanning and copying of documents etc.

- Checking and replying emails

- Able to be multi-tasked and work under tight datelines

- Any other administrative duties assigned from time to time
