Key Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE  

The assistant manager is responsible for overseeing and delivering high-quality real estate property and fund accounting services across complex holding structures, including SPVs, property companies (PropCos), and holding companies (HoldCos). The role has strong accountability for reviewing, approving, and making judgment-based decisions on property- and fund-level accounting treatments, estimates, and financial reporting outcomes. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and analyzing moderate to complex payroll-related journal entries and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and accounting standards. The Senior Specialist handles more complex transactions, supports issue resolution, and ensures accurate and timely completion of period-end close activities.

The role requires solid technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Perform end-to-end payroll accounting activities, including complex payroll journals, reconciliations, and reporting.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Assist in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
• Data entry of invoices, payments, and receipts into accounting system
• Prepare and process supplier invoices and staff claim
• Issue invoices, delivery orders, and receipts to customers
• Perform basic bank reconciliation and follow up on discrepancies
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers
• Prepare and check Letter of Credit (LC) documents, including invoice, packing list, and other shipping documents
• Liaise with banks, forwarders, and customers on LC documentation matters

Position Summary
The Accounting Intern will support the day-to-day operations of the Finance & Accounting team and gain hands-on experience across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) processes within a global, multi-entity environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a final-year accounting student to apply academic knowledge in a real-world corporate setting, work with NetSuite ERP, and learn from experienced finance professionals.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (AP)

• Assist in processing vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and adherence to approval workflows in NetSuite.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documentation; flag discrepancies for follow-up.
• Support the review and processing of employee expense reports and reimbursements.
• Help maintain vendor master records, including W-9 / tax documentation and banking details.
• Assist in preparing weekly payment runs and tracking outstanding payables.

Accounts Receivable (AR)

• • Support customer invoice generation, distribution, and follow-up in NetSuite.
• • Assist in cash application and reconciliation of customer payments to outstanding invoices.
• • Help monitor aging receivables and prepare collection reports for review.
• • Support the preparation of monthly customer statements and account reconciliations.

General Ledger (GL) & Month-End Close

• Assist in month-end and year-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Help reconcile bank, credit card, and intercompany accounts across KMS Group entities.
• Support fixed asset register maintenance, including additions, disposals, and depreciation tracking.
• Assist in preparing supporting schedules and documentation for internal management and external audit reviews.
• Help ensure proper filing and archiving of accounting records in line with company policy.

Other Support

• Participate in ad-hoc projects, internal audits, and process improvement initiatives.
• Assist with data entry, data validation, and report generation in NetSuite.
• Collaborate with team members across multiple KMS Group entities and time zones.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Financial Accounting & Audit Executive to support the company’s financial reporting, audit coordination, and compliance functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with statutory and management reporting, and liaising with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.

This role is suitable for candidates with strong accounting fundamentals and experience in handling full sets of accounts, audit schedules, and financial compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and cash flow reports

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting and audit experience
• Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST, and statutory compliance
• Experience in handling audit preparation and financial reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and meet reporting deadlines
• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in construction, marine, logistics, or vessel/ship/dredger related project-based industries will be an advantage
• Familiarity with payroll, cost accounting, or multi-entity accounting environment
• Experience with ERP or HR/accounting systems is preferred
