Job Details:

• Contract Duration: 12 Months (Renewable depend on performance and business needs)

Role:

As the business partner, this role holds accountability for driving the overall financial strategy and attaining financial and operational excellence for the Enterprises and Government Business unit. This includes forecasting and budgeting to ensure effective financial management, as well as analyzing and compiling Go-To-Market (GTM) plans.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in strategic business planning and budgeting exercises for Enterprises and Government.

• Contribute to syndication exercises with key product houses on a regular quarterly cadence, as well as the annual AOP cycle

• Drive productive business targeting and administer seamless business operations for business through intelligence and insights from management reports, analysis, and data mining

• Develop and prepare a forecasting model for regular business monitoring, including relevant sensitivity analysis and scenario planning. Ensure effectiveness and internal control of business unit operations by streamlining processes where necessary

• Oversee essential projects as needed and conduct regular cadence reviews, such as funnel management, to ensure visibility of the business. Plan and coordinate interlocks with other business units to promote collaboration

• Drive timely and accurate management reporting for key business decisions – Growth/BAU TMs and BPR’s and management dashboards and drivers

• Ensure monthly month-end closing procedures are executed to ensure proper book closure

• Stay informed of key trends affecting the business, including new developments in the enterprises and government sectors, progress of commercial enterprises, and market environment changes specific to certain vertical industries

Requirements:

• University degree or equivalent in Accountancy, Finance & Business or related discipline

• At least 3-5 years of experience in Business Planning / Analyst / Sales Operations

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Capable of managing and analyzing large volumes of data. Familiarity or experience with Salesforce, PowerBI and Tableau is preferred.

• Experience in budgeting and driving accurate management reporting and analysis for key business decisions

• Demands extensive strong cross-functional collaboration, good communication skills, and a process-focused aptitude that will enable this role to effectively execute multiple responsibilities and deliverables.

• Strong business acumen with customer-oriented personal, independent and a good team player

• Meticulous and responsible with sharp analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills

12 Month Contract with a global leading organisation.

Salary negotiable depending on level of experience.

Previous experience in Retail Banking or Private Banking would be advantageous.

A thorough knowledge of KYC policies and procedures in a Banking environment is essential, and some exposure to Source of Wealth / Funds is highly preferred.

Work you’ll do

Conduct client due diligence during onboarding and periodic reviews, ensuring compliance with AML/KYC obligations.

Validate and verify KYC information through comprehensive research and cross referencing internal and external databases.

Identify and escalate cases involving politically exposed persons and customers with medium to high AML risk.

Perform enhanced due diligence for customers with higher AML risk ratings, addressing complex compliance issues.

Conduct Source of Wealth review in accordance with regulatory and industry standards and advise on assessment and corroboration gaps; perform subsequent uplift to required standards.

Provide support to the Compliance function by handling ad hoc queries, evaluating sanctions alerts, and investigating transaction monitoring alerts for potential fraud.

Document the rationale for escalating or dismissing sanctions and transaction alerts, stay updated on AML regulations, and co-lead a team ensuring quality and efficiency.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., accounting, law) and a professional certification is a plus.

5+ years of experience in KYC, SOW, AML, forensic accounting, fraud investigation, or related fields, ideally within consulting, financial, accounting, or legal institutions.

Basic understanding of KYC / AML regulations and money laundering schemes.

Experience providing financial crime consulting to various banking sectors and skills in analyzing, drafting, and presenting reports.

Strong team player with good communication, analytical, and report-writing skills, and a commitment to professional excellence
