• Degree/Diploma/Higher Nitec in Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering

• Minimum 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing industry,. Contract manufacturing background will be at advantage

Lead the development and execution of global power strategies to support DayOne’s growth across regions. Drive grid connectivity, secure energy capacity, and build commercial frameworks while managing key stakeholder relationships and leading a high-impact energy function.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute global power strategies aligned to growth targets across megawatts, campuses, and regions
• Own and deliver the ‘Path to Power’ strategy across all markets, including grid, onsite, and hybrid energy solutions
• Secure and accelerate grid connections, regulatory approvals, and energisation timelines
• Identify and implement alternative energy solutions (e.g., BESS, behind-the-meter, co-location) to unlock capacity
• Advise leadership on market entry decisions based on power availability and constraints
• Build and maintain relationships with utilities, regulators, and energy partners globally
• Structure commercial frameworks and partnerships to prioritise power availability
• Lead renewable and integrated energy strategies (PPAs, onsite generation, storage)
• Build and lead a lean, high-impact team
• Monitor and report future energy capacity pipeline (12–36 months)

Candidate Profile

• 15+ years’ experience in power, energy, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure environments (data centre experience advantageous but not essential)
• Strong understanding of grid infrastructure, energy markets, and regulatory environments
• Proven ability to resolve capacity constraints and deliver business outcomes
• Commercially minded, able to translate technical challenges into strategic decisions
• Experience working with utilities, regulators, and infrastructure stakeholders
• Comfortable operating in high-growth, evolving environments

Admin & Programme Executive Role 

About the Role:
As an Admin & Programme Executive, you will play a key role in ensuring the centre runs smoothly by managing daily manpower planning and staffing operations. You will be at the heart of coordinating teachers’ schedules, deployments, and attendance to ensure all programmes are well-supported and operationally efficient.

Working closely with Programme Coordinators and the HR team, you will handle real-time staffing needs, resolve last-minute manpower challenges, and ensure seamless communication across teams, parents, and vendors. This role requires someone who is proactive, organised, and able to think quickly in a fast-paced environment where daily operations depend on strong coordination.

You will gain hands-on exposure to operations, manpower planning, and cross-functional coordination, building practical skills in managing centre operations effectively. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with people, and creating structure in a dynamic environment, this role offers a strong platform to grow and make a meaningful operational impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides centre-based programme operations and administrative support to ensure smooth daily manpower coordination, student movement, attendance administration, welfare follow-up, and operational readiness across programme activities. Plays a key role in monitoring staffing sufficiency, coordinating manpower adjustments, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of programme operations. 

• Coordinates programme-related intake, first-day readiness, transition, and withdrawal processes. Ensures relevant student documents and key information are shared with the education team and teachers in a timely manner, supports planning for student entry, and checks staffing/manpower viability with the relevant lead to ensure the student can be safely and appropriately supported from the first day of attendance. Also coordinates transition-out and closure requirements for withdrawals, including handover with finance and internal stakeholders where needed. 

• Coordinate daily manpower deployment across programme spaces and activities to ensure sufficient staffing coverage based on student attendance, support needs, movement requirements, and operational demands. Flag shortages, propose adjustments, and escalate staffing gaps promptly to the relevant lead. 

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date programme operations records, including manpower availability, shift movement, attendance tracking, transport coordination logs, and deployment status. 

• Prepare programme-related attendance records, utilisation summaries, and supporting administrative records required for payroll, finance submission, or internal tracking. 

• Conduct routine operational readiness checks across programme spaces and flag maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and setup issues affecting daily programme operations. 

• Monitor and prepare replenishment requests for programme-use supplies, student daily essentials, and classroom consumables required for daily operations. 

• Coordinate day-to-day student transport movement, communicate same-day changes with parents and transport parties, and support smooth handover and dismissal arrangements. 

• Support programme-based operational coordination for activities, including staffing alignment, attendance tracking, participant movement, and on-ground readiness. 

• Maintain programme-related records, checklists, and supporting operational documentation required for review, audit preparation, or internal monitoring. Only will look at ECDA and MSF related 

• Support daily centre and programme readiness by checking staffing deployment, classroom setup, student flow, and operational preparedness before and throughout the day. Identify staffing gaps or coverage risks early and coordinate with the relevant lead to support timely adjustments. 

• Coordinate with transport vendors and relevant external parties on programme-related student logistics and service matters including but not limited to social worker, allied health professionals and etc. 

• Work closely with Programme Leads, HR, and the Senior Administration & Operations Executive on staffing movement, manpower coordination, operational adjustments, and programme support matters. 

• Track daily operational disruptions, attendance exceptions, staffing gaps, manpower movement issues, and programme coordination concerns, and flag them promptly for action. 

• Provide timely updates on manpower changes, attendance issues, operational disruptions, and programme coordination matters to relevant stakeholders 

• Supports all programme related operational matter working in programme lead/HR and senior admin  

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma qualification

• At least 1 year of relevant working experience in administration or operations

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (important), Word, and PowerPoint

• Strong spoken and written English (Organised, responsible, and detail-oriented)

The Children and Youth Group (CYG) in The Salvation Army Singapore serves hundreds of vulnerable children and youth yearly. In line with our vision to provide a continuum of care to uplift those in need, our services span from preventive services, foster care and residential services to reunification support services for vulnerable children returning to their natural families after being removed due to safety concerns. We believe that every child is precious and unique and children grow best in families. We also believe in the potential of every child and family to transform and thrive.

The Youth Development Centre is one of CYG's services and reaches out to latch-key young people from low to middle income families to guide them towards a more purposeful life, live out their dreams and contribute well to society.

As an outreach centre, the staff and volunteers engage the youth with a variety of sports, music and social activities to impart life skills that will help them build a strong foundation for their future. We run a drop-in centre to provide young people in the community with a safe and conducive place to hang out. We also run youth mental health programmes such as resilience building to help youth thrive. Through our youth mental health programmes we reach out to youth in the community as well as at risk youth in residential care. We also provide supervised access services for vulnerable children and youth.

Further, Youth Development Centre is also an incubator for new services such as youth mental health.

PRIMARY JOB OBJECTIVES:

The Youth Development Centre (YDC) will provide Youth Mental Health programmes which include a drop-in centre service for at-risk youths from low to middle-income families, psychoeducation and therapeutic group work sessions for youth in schools and their families struggling with mental health, and other preventive and remedial community programmes aimed at helping youth and families cope with mental health issues. We also provide specialized supervised access services for vulnerable families.

The Programme Executive would need to plan, implement, facilitate and evaluate all programmes in YDC, conduct volunteer management and community need assessment to measure and enhance programme relevance and effectiveness to bring about quality service and standards.

We are looking for someone with a "Can Do" spirit who has the ability to pioneer new ground, creative in problem solving, and with a passion for making a difference the lives of vulnerable youth and families. It will be a bonus if you have experience working with child protection risks and/or mental health issues.


MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drop in:

1. Ensure smooth running of daily operations of YDC, from planning to execution of current and new programmes and activities that will develop youths' social, emotional and psychological competencies.

2. To connect with youths, build positive relationships and contribute to the holistic development of youths.

3. Work with key stakeholders and volunteers to implement and conduct services for youths and their families.

4. Work with youth and their families in accordance with YDC approved settings, maintaining professional and purposeful relationships, displaying a sound understanding of equality, respect, and valuing individuals' diversity.


Youth Development Programmes:

5. To plan, develop and execute youth mental health programmes and services in the community, partnering schools, FSCs, hospitals, etc.

6. To conduct periodic needs and outcome assessments to evaluate the effectiveness and relevance of key programmes.

7. To engage the various stakeholders working with the youth and their families


Professional Development:

8. Maintain professional knowledge, ethics and skills, and initiate personal responsibility for self-development and training.

9. Keep up to date with the current trends of the social service sector as well as the needs of vulnerable youths and their families.


Administration:

10. Provide professional support to access services by undertaking administrative tasks, sharing information and responding to queries.

11. Ensure facilities and logistics needs of the centre and office are well taken care.

12. Ensure efficient use of resources and work within approved budgets for all access services activities and services.

13. To conduct administrative tasks such as case recordings, prepare presentations and data for reports, and in maintaining the facilities of YDC.

14. Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required of you by the management team.

Diploma or Degree in Psychology, social work or any other relevant discipline from an accredited institution.

Job Requirements

• Experience with working with youth mental health preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience working with youth.
• Flexible and open to new initiatives as and when YDC incubates a new service.
