Position Summary

The Executive Director will serve as the Company's senior representative in Singapore and selected international markets. The role is responsible for strengthening the Company's international contracting, financing, and partnership capabilities while supporting the Company's overseas business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Experience

Job Summary
Transaction Execution

• Conduct and manage due diligence inquiries of target company using due diligence checklists to understand their business, assets, capabilities, ESG and financial performance, as well as strategic fit

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy & Business Development

• Develop and execute the Singapore country business plan in alignment with Asia Pacific strategy.

• Identify, qualify, and win new business opportunities in EV charging, microgrid, and integrated energy solutions.

• Drive market share expansion and ensure achievement of revenue, gross margin, and profitability targets.

2. Sales & Key Account Management

• Own the end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, solution design, proposal, pricing, negotiation, and deal closure.

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-level and senior decision makers at key accounts (utilities, real estate developers, fleet operators, automotive OEMs, government agencies).

• Represent the company in industry forums, government engagements, and strategic partnerships.

3. Team Leadership

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing cross-functional team (Sales, Solution, Service, Operations).

• Set clear OKRs / KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide coaching and mentoring.

• Foster a performance-driven, customer-centric, and inclusive team culture.

4. Operations & Financial Management

• Own full P&L responsibility for the Singapore business.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, expense control, and monthly / quarterly business reviews.

• Ensure effective working capital management, including AR collection and inventory control.

• Drive operational efficiency, process standardization, and continuous improvement.

5. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure full compliance with Singapore laws, regulations, and corporate governance.

• Manage contracts, legal affairs, and corporate risk in coordination with regional / HQ functions.

• Uphold company values, ethics, and code of conduct.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Partner with regional functions (Solution, Service, Finance, HR, Legal) to deliver business outcomes.

• Share market intelligence, best practices, and learnings with other Asia Pacific countries.

Requirements:

Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Energy, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.

• 10+ years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or country management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

• Proven P&L ownership track record with demonstrated revenue growth.

• Understanding of the Singapore energy / e-mobility / infrastructure landscape.

• Strong network with key stakeholders in utilities, government, real estate, and/or automotive sectors.

• Demonstrated experience in leading and developing cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

• Willing to travel as required.

Nice to Have

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Significant demonstrable experience with and understanding of the deliverables of a financial function.

This role has responsibility for overseeing Global Delivery’s workforce in Singapore and delivery of the processes and services in partnership with global business and corporate function leaders. The role provides leadership and oversight across the entire footprint in Singapore while ensuring the appropriate structures and accountability are in place with senior stakeholders in the US, Europe and APAC.
