Role Description

This full-time, on-site Senior Developer / Technical Lead role owns the technical delivery of StrongKeep's platform on a lean 7-person team. You will lead a small group of engineers, own our GEN 2 delivery and the Compliance module end-to-end, and set the bar for architecture, code quality, and shipping pace. You are equally comfortable writing the hard code yourself and unblocking the people around you.

A strong interest in AI (LLMs, GenAI, agentic workflows) is expected — we build AI-assisted development into our daily workflow (Claude Code and similar), and the product itself is moving toward embedded intelligence and automation.

You will work closely with a locally-based, multi-disciplinary team — engineers, a designer, a PM - mentoring junior engineers while staying hands-on yourself.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Own GEN 2 delivery and the Compliance module — architecture, roadmap, and shipping.
• Lead and mentor a small engineering team; run code reviews, set quality and testing standards, level up juniors.
• Make pragmatic build-vs-buy and architecture calls suited to a fast-moving 7-person startup.

Software Development

• Design and build secure, scalable backend and frontend across our stack (TypeScript, Node/Express, React/Next.js, MongoDB).
• Develop APIs, services, and integrations with internal systems and third-party security platforms.
• Maintain high code quality through testing, documentation, and secure coding practices in a multitenant SaaS.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work with the PM, designer, and engineers to ship features weekly in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in sprints and daily standups; own reliability, performance, and incident response for your modules.

Learning & Innovation

• Stay current with emerging cyber, AI, and automation technologies.
• Drive adoption of agentic AI workflows in both how we build and what we ship.

Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong full-stack proficiency with TypeScript/Node.js, React/Next.js, and experience with NoSQL
• (MongoDB/Mongoose) and SQL databases.
• Solid REST API design and integration experience.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; GCP/Azure welcome) and containerised deployment (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Demonstrated ownership of multi-tenant SaaS architecture (data isolation, auth, tenancy).
• Familiarity with secure coding principles and software engineering best practices.
• Bonus: cybersecurity-product domain experience; familiarity with LLMs / AI tooling and a willingness to go deep.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience / certifications.
• 6+ years of relevant software engineering experience, including direct technical leadership or founding-engineer experience

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full sales cycle for digital and IT services, from generating leads to closing deals.
• Actively engage in public and private RFPs, tenders, and government procurement platforms (such as GeBIZ).
• Prepare customized proposals, quotations, technical documents, and presentation materials.
• Act as the technical advisor throughout the sales process, translating client needs into effective and scalable solutions.
• Showcase product features through demonstrations, prototypes, and walkthroughs.
• Collaborate with project teams to accurately scope solutions and align expectations with deliverables.
• Ensure client satisfaction by managing upselling, renewals, and handling escalations professionally.
• Monitor and manage sales pipelines, providing regular updates on key metrics and achievements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships based on trust, transparency, and reliable delivery.
• Evaluate and communicate the technical feasibility and architecture of proposed solutions, such as CMS platforms, custom applications, and experiential technologies.
• Act as a bridge between sales and development teams to ensure solutions are technically viable and properly scoped.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal technical teams to gather requirements, define system specifications, and ensure seamless integration.

Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Media, or related disciplines.
• 1 to 3 years of combined experience in IT sales and/or pre-sales/solution consulting.
• Proven experience managing IT tenders and digital transformation projects, particularly within Singapore.
• Skilled at translating technical concepts into clear business value for non-technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented with a professional attitude and strong commitment to client success.
