· 12 months contract with good benefits and completion bonus

Key Responsibilities
· Maintain financial books and records in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards and statutory requirements, including supporting the assessment of accounting standard changes and appropriate accounting treatment for business activities.
· Perform monthly closing and consolidation activities to support accurate and timely group and statutory reporting within agreed reporting deadlines.
· Reconcile accounting records to trading and other source systems to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the accounting ledger.
· Prepare accounting schedules and conduct monthly analytical review of fluctuation in financial positions and performance
· Support the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial reporting packages, and support the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with financial reporting standards.
· Identify and implement opportunities to improve finance processes, controls, reporting quality and operational efficiency, including supporting relevant IT initiatives and Finance BI functionality.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to support business objectives, resolve finance-related matters and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
· 3-5years of relevant accounting, audit or financial reporting experience, with the ability to explain month-end closing, reconciliations, audit support and financial reporting processes
· Demonstrated technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting requirements, with the ability to assess accounting treatment and support accurate reporting for business activities
· Experience using finance systems, Excel, automation and digital tools to support accounting, reconciliation and financial reporting activities
· Abilityto work independently, communicate clearly, manage multiple priorities undertime pressure and contribute effectively as part of a team
- Experience in commodity trading, mark-to-market accounting, or audit of commodity trading businesses
- Experience in supporting statutory audit, internal control review, or group reporting submissions
