About the role:

The Process Engineer II is to Support/lead troubleshooting of manufacturing operations Upstream process/product issues. Technical subject matter expert (SME) for manufacturing operations to resolve process issues, perform root cause analysis and impact assessment for process investigations. Support evaluation of technologies, plan and execute process improvements. Support and execute global manufacturing science initiatives. Plan, support and execute site manufacturing science activities such as continuous process verification (CPV) program, technology transfer of new products and process monitoring and trending.

Overview

We are partnering with a fast-growing technology company at the intersection of AI and the medical industry. The team is building advanced software systems that integrate with laboratory equipment and industrial control systems to accelerate complex scientific processes.

This role is ideal for a hands-on C# Software Engineer who enjoys working beyond pure software, combining real-time systems, hardware integration, and automation in a highly collaborative environment. You will work closely with both local and overseas engineering teams on cutting-edge solutions with real-world impact.

Responsibilities

• Perform software requirement analysis and contribute to system architecture design based on product needs
• Develop and enhance upper-level software for automation equipment and industrial control systems
• Design and build HMI (Human-Machine Interface) applications for control and monitoring
• Develop solutions for data acquisition from PLCs and equipment, including real-time visualization, querying, and analysis
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and engineering teams across regions
• Prepare and review technical documentation including requirement specifications and functional design documents

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
• Minimum 3 years of software development experience
• Proficient in C# and .NET technologies (WinForms, WPF), with experience in MVVM architecture
• Strong understanding of multithreading, asynchronous programming, and real-time systems
• Experience working with industrial systems such as PLCs, automation equipment, or hardware interfaces
• Familiar with communication protocols (e.g. serial communication, Ethernet, industrial bus systems)
• Experience with data acquisition, system integration, or control systems is highly preferred
• Proficient with version control tools such as Git
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to communicate in both English and Chinese to collaborate with regional teams
• Open to occasional international travel for training and project collaboration

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational support and deployment services for customers' cloud infrastructure and environments.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues across cloud-scale and backbone network infrastructures.
• Support and maintain Software-Defined Networking (SDN) services and cloud networking solutions, including Azure Front Door (AFD), Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) protection, Domain Name System (DNS), ExpressRoute, and related services.
• Participate in standby and on-call rotations to provide after-hours operational support when required.

Requirements: 

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in large-scale data centre environments for the Senior Engineer position.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in large-scale data centre environments for the Lead position.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams and business functions.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and proven experience managing or leading technical teams will be advantageous for the Lead role.

Technical Skills:

Programming & Scripting

• Proficiency in Kusto, Java, Python, and Perl.
• Operating Systems: Strong hands-on experience with Linux-based operating systems.
• Cloud & Network Technologies: Experience with virtual networking technologies, including SDN, Virtual Networks (VNet), DNS, ExpressRoute, Traffic Manager, and Load Balancers.
• Data Formats: Familiarity with machine-readable data formats such as JSON and XML.
• Certifications: Relevant networking certifications such as CCNP or JNCIP is a plus.
• Network Automation & Security: Practical experience in network automation, infrastructure orchestration, and network security operations.
