Overview

Overview

As a Senior IT Engineer , you will be responsible for managing and ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of the organization’s enterprise IT infrastructure, with a focus on systems, storage, backup, and disaster recovery operations.

• Manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure, including Windows/Linux servers and virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V)
• Administer, configure, and maintain storage environments (SAN / NAS), including provisioning, monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity management
• Manage enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam, Commvault, or Veritas NetBackup
• Monitor backup jobs, investigate and resolve failures, and perform regular restore testing and recovery validation to ensure data integrity
• Support disaster recovery (DR) operations, including replication setup, failover/failback execution, and periodic DR drills/testing
• Ensure adherence to defined RPO (Recovery Point Objective) and RTO (Recovery Time Objective) targets, as well as data protection and compliance standards
• Perform proactive infrastructure monitoring, system health checks, patch management, and preventive maintenance activities
• Participate in incident management, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and ensure timely resolution with minimal business impact
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and external clients for support, escalation handling, and project implementation
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, operational runbooks, backup reports, and infrastructure records
• Support infrastructure optimization initiatives, including performance improvements, automation opportunities, and capacity planning
• Provide escalation support for complex technical issues beyond L2/L3 operational teams (Senior Engineer responsibility layer)

Job Responsibilities:

·       Conduct comprehensive KYC reviews across various risk categories, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards, including timely monitoring and remediation of expiring records.

·       Perform client identification, verification, screening (PEP/sanctions), and enhanced due diligence such as adverse media checks; escalate suspicious activities and highlight AML concerns to senior stakeholders.

·       Collaborate with internal teams and relationship managers to obtain required information, maintain high-quality review standards, complete QC and approval processes, and address any operational or procedural issues promptly.

·       Escalating high risk matters to relevant team

·       Adhoc tasks and projects as assigned

Job Requirements

·       Minimum Diploma in a related discipline

·       Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

·       Able to start immediately or within short notice

As Senior Consultant, you will be required to carry out the duties as directed by the Group/Chairman, Medical Board, Group Chief, Head of Department in accordance with the policies and guidelines set by the NUHS and the Ministry of Health (MOH).

Requirements:

· Possess a basic degree from a recognised medical school or Postgraduate which is registrable with the Singapore Medical Council;

· Completed the training and post-graduate qualifications which are recognised by the Specialists Accreditation Board (SAB);

· Active in clinical practice;

· Have at least 8 years of relevant experience as an accredited and licensed medical specialist;

· Able to work independently with demonstrated competence in managing patients, teaching and research in a multi-discipline environment;

· Confident, takes initiatives and a good team player.
