The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) trains doctors who put patients at the centre of their exemplary care. The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT), National University of Singapore is looking for researchers and engineers to develop next generation quantum computers based on trapped ions. There are multiple positions available at different levels with a diverse set of expertise. This program is funded under the National Quantum Processor Initiative, a flagship program under the National Quantum Office Singapore. The aim of the program is to develop a full stack quantum processor system based on Yb-Ba ions emphasizing on the performance rather than on the qubit numbers. Centre for Lifelong Learning and Individualised Cognition CLIC is a research collaboration between the University of Cambridge and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and hosted by the Cambridge Centre for Advanced Research and Education in Singapore (CARES) that aims to develop neuroscience-based interventions for lifelong flexible learning. Requirements:

• Masters degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related discipline.

• Research or applied experience in system security.

• Experience with privacy-preserving machine learning, AI-driven vulnerability analysis, and vulnerability detection tools.

• Knowledge of cryptographic protocols such as Multi-Party Computation.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and Java.

• Strong academic writing and publication track record, with contributions to international conferences (e.g., ICSE).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in bridging low-level system architectures.

• Proficiency in experimental design, evaluation benchmarks, and reproducibility of results.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in multidisciplinary teams.

• Ability to mentor and support students in research activities and software projects.

We are looking for a Research Associate to work on Embodied AI Safety. The role will focus on designing, developing, and implementing novel algorithms and models to address emerging challenges in Embodied AI Safety, including attack and defense mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities:

The research associate will focus on the following tasks

• Data collection and processing

• Conducting experiments and analyzing results

• Assisting with robot operation, debugging, and system integration

• Providing general support for the lab

Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

• Knowledge and experience in AI safety, computer vision and deep learning

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Proficiency in basics of programming languages such as Python
