• Sales Documentation: Manage RFQs (Request for Quotes), Costing Sheets and all related documentation to support the business development activities.
  
• Vendor Coordination: Liaise with the supply chain team to verify lead times and stocks availability
  
• Lead Enrichment: Research market developments/trends to identify potential and high-volume product needs
  
• Reporting & Analytics: Generate monthly reports on conversion rates and product category performance

Job Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years in industrial sales or distribution (Fasteners, Hardware, or Construction materials preferred).
  
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering. Diploma holder with relevant experience is welcome.
  
• Cross-Border Competence:
  o   Languages: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional regional languages (e.g., Mandarin) is often a strong asset for managing overseas stakeholders.
  o   Cultural Awareness: Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments and navigate different international business etiquettes.
  
• Technical& Soft Skills:
  o   Expertise in CRM systems like Salesforce or D365 to manage complex regional data.
  o   Strong negotiation and presentation skills to engage with "C-level" management and large corporatepartners.
  o   Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across different time zones.
  o   Strong ability to build "if-this-then-that" workflows to reduce manual data entry.

Job Responsibilities

As a Business Development Engineer, you will play a key role in driving growth and strengthening customer relationships within the semiconductor UHP sector.

Your responsibilities include:

Business Development & Sales Growth

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories
• Proactively engage prospective customers to generate new sales opportunities
• Attend exhibitions and industry events to build market presence

Technical & Commercial Engagement

• Lead technical discussions with customers and support product definition activities
• Monitor project tenders and participate in commercial negotiations
• Analyse market opportunities and competitive landscape
• Provide feedback to regional and HQ teams for product and business strategy development

Customer & Project Coordination

• Coordinate with customers, internal teams, and factories to ensure smooth execution
• Ensure high customer satisfaction in quality, delivery, and after-sales support
• Act as the key liaison between technical and commercial stakeholders

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline
