NPCs are specialized cloud environments that are designed to comply with the data laws of specific countries and regions.  You would be part of the team responsible for

• You should expect to need to travel to the in-country Sovereign Operations Centres on a regular basis. This physical presence is vital for effective coordination, monitoring, and collaboration within the centre.  Exact frequency to be agreed, but needs to be frequent enough to build strong relationships with the partner teams there.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and at least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and providing operational support to complex networking environments.
• Strong knowledge and experience deploying/configuring and maintaining Network environments (both in physical platforms and Azure) including: L2/L3 Routing (BGP) & Switching, Firewalls (NAT & ACLs), IPSEC VPN.
• Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or any other equivalent Cloud Certification
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is essential for internal collaboration and reporting.

Preferred:

• Deep experience in system and service administration of complex platforms.
• A passion for innovation in complex and constrained environments, to deliver advanced and progressive customer experiences.
• Understanding of the challenges of system and service management in high security domains.

About the Role

Process Management

·        Implement the underlying processes supporting IT service management, in conformance with corporate security policies and guidelines

·        Documentation

·        Develop and maintain technical and process documents to upkeep the IT infrastructure

Requirements

Education and Experience

·        Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

·        Minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in managing network and security equipment such as Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VPN, Load Balancer, DNS, NAC in financial institutions or mission-critical environments

Skills and Knowledge

·        Proven hands-on network engineering experience

·        Demonstrate good analytical and problem-solving abilities

·        Excellent communication skills and possess a customer-oriented mindset

·        Strong interpersonal skills and able to work independently as well as in a team

·        Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and projects effectively, particularly in a high-stakes environment with competing deadlines

·        Familiarity with data centre operations will be an advantage

Professional Certifications

Certifications in Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise, CheckPoint Certified Security Administrator (CCSA), Certified Cloud Security Engineer (CCSE), Palo Alto Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA),Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) (up to level 4) and Certified Network Defender
