We’re searching for an Equipment Engineer to be part of our Thin Film CVD department diverse team of talent. You will be responsible for supporting Thin Film Equipment startup, maintenance and related activities to support daily production and achieve operation targets.

What you will be working on:

• Support CVD equipment engineering related activities to achieve operation targets and meet company objectives
• Participate in Continuous Improvement for Cost, Yield, Productivity and Uptime
• New Equipment Startup and Relocation to support Production Plan
• Tool Ownership and accountability for Uptime, Wafers scrap, Parts Management, Equipment Down Memo Reduction
• Troubleshoot and resolve Equipment issues to support daily production
• Review and optimize equipment maintenance procedures
• Consumable and spare management ensure adequate provision
• Participate in technology transfer from motherfab
• Participate in implementation of TSMC/NXP BKMs and generate SSMC BKMs
• Update of OIs and SOPs to document real and best practices
• Preventive Maintenance Planning and alignment of schedule with Manufacturing
• Conduct Training and certification for new PM crew in terms of Hands on and Theory
• Drive Manufacturing for Monitoring Time reduction to improve Uptime
• Lead/ Participate in Transform Platform and generate LSS, BKMs and Trade Secrets for value creation for the company
• Able to perform weekend 12-hour shift or Swing Shift or any shift pattern as defined by Manager

More About You:

• Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electrical/Electronic)
• At least 1-3 years’ experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• 5 years direct experience in CVD equipment for Diploma holders
• Knowledge in the AMAT Centura/ HDP/ Producer/ Lam Sequel
• At least 3 years’ experience in same field will be consider for senior position
• A strong background and experience in semiconductor manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• System Modeling & Analysis: Team up with equipment vendors and EPC partners to design MV/HV systems (switchgear, transformers, protection relays, and SCADA) for offshore substations.

• Technical Documentation: Draft, review, and refine critical engineering deliverables, including single-line diagrams (SLDs), protection coordination layouts, and comprehensive cable routing schedules.

• Testing & Commissioning: Oversee Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT) and provide technical support during offshore commissioning phases to validate regulatory compliance.

• Asset Integrity & Maintenance: Formulate proactive, preventive maintenance strategies aimed at maximizing equipment lifespan and optimizing system uptime.

• Technical Leadership: Troubleshoot complex electrical faults, offer field-level solutions, and provide technical mentorship to early-career engineering staff.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.Eng / B.Sc) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field.

• Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of dedicated experience in medium or high voltage power engineering, with an emphasis on offshore or marine installations.

• Software Skills: Proven proficiency in utilizing specialized electrical design and simulation software.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of MV/HV engineering fundamentals, maritime safety regulations, and offshore operational constraints.

• Soft Skills: Strong organizational, interpersonal, and adaptive capabilities to successfully navigate demanding, fast-paced offshore project environments.

• Preferred Assets: Professional credentials or specialized certifications in high-voltage safety and engineering are highly advantageous.

About The Team

The team is responsible for the recommendation algorithms of video creation tools globally, overseeing recommendation distribution and user growth optimization across all apps of CapCut, including Jianying, CapCut, Hypic, so as to enhance content distribution efficiency and user growth efficiency

Responsibilities:

- Optimize the core recommendation algorithms and strategy of video creation tools globally, including CapCut, Hypic, etc.

- Enhance user growth efficiency by optimizing distribution efficiency of content created by CapCut, Hypic, etc.

- Optimize user experiences during creation via a deep understanding of user behavior and state-of-the-art machine learning technologies.

- Support the production of scalable and optimised AI/machine learning (ML) models

- Focus on building algorithms for the extraction, transformation and loading of large volumes of realtime, unstructured data to deploy AI/ML solutions from theoretical data science models.

- Run experiments to test the performance of deployed models, and identifies and resolves bugs that arise in the process.

- Work in a team setting and apply knowledge in statistics, scripting and programming languages required by the firm.

- Work with the relevant software platforms in which the models are deployed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

- Strong coding skills with a solid foundation in data structure and algorithms.

- Strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience in machine learning.

- Excellent problem analysis and solving skills, with passion for tackling challenging problems.

- Familiarity with one or more areas in machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, or data mining.

Preferred Qualification:

- Strong practical ability, papers published in relevant competitions and top academic conferences (such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, etc.) are preferred.
