The School of Fine Art (SFA) seeks a versatile and forward-thinking Senior Lecturer / Programme Lead to oversee the management and pedagogical direction of the Diploma in Fine Art. This appointment is a critical hire to advance the School’s positioning within the evolving landscape of contemporary art practices.

The Programme Leader must possess extensive technical and theoretical knowledge across a broad spectrum of art mediums, ranging from drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture to mediums such as sound art and performance art. Salary Range

Nanyang Centre for Public Administration (NCPA) at NTU Singapore is a leading institution in Asia that provides quality education and research in public governance and administration development as well as promotes good governance in the region and beyond. Faculty on the Teaching Track is expected to teach well and contribute to NCPA’s education objectives. 

The Nanyang Technological University (NTU) invites applications for the position of Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in public governance, public policy and public administration at the NCPA. 

Faculty on the Teaching Track will report to Director, NCPA and is expected to teach and contribute to NCPA’s educational objectives. NCPA is expanding the course offerings of its programs.    

The successful candidate reports to Director, NCPA and will be expected to: 

• contribute to teaching and course development for the Master of Public Administration, and Master of China and Global Governance Program in NCPA, as well as related activities such as supervision of teaching practice, and thesis supervision and examination; 

• undertake administrative and/or leadership roles and contribute to other service-related activities at the department or institution level; 

• develop a robust research agenda and maintain a strong publication record that create impact in the discipline and/or educational practice;

Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:  

• PhD in Public Policy, Public Administration, Management, or other related degrees. 

• Ability to teach postgraduate-level courses in English and/or Chinese, such as policy analysis and evaluation, budgeting and finance, leadership and decision sciences, politics and institutions, digital governance, AI and industrial development, or related areas.  

• A record of teaching similar subjects in tertiary educational institutes is strongly preferred.  

• Interest in developing new courses in your specialization. Providing 2-3 synopsis of courses you have not taught but are keen to teach is strongly encouraged.  

• Demonstrated potential for scholarship in a research area undertaken by NCPA is an advantage. These areas include (but are not limited to) Global Asia, AI and public policy, etc. 

• Candidates for the Senior Lecturer position should have extensive experience in the relevant areas of teaching and course development.

As Acacia College offers interdisciplinary Year 1 and Year 2 level seminar-style courses as an alternative pathway to fulfil undergraduate students' General Education graduation requirements, Fellows are expected to design, lead or co-lead seminar(s) in an interdisciplinary and highly interactive educational environment.

Beyond formal classroom instruction, Fellows are actively involved in teaching and learning activities outside the classroom. They also contribute to Acacia College's operations by leading in essential administrative tasks and through service roles.

We are seeking candidates who are truly invested in and dedicated to supporting students' holistic development, both as individuals and as members of a community within a living-learning environment as technology and AI do not only solve the problems of today, but seek to anticipate and mitigate the problems of tomorrow.  

Qualifications

• PhD degree in a relevant field. (Doctoral students who will be in the job market are encouraged to apply too).
• Applicants without a PhD degree may be considered on a case-by-case basis based on their Master’s degree, working experience, or expertise in a certain domain. For example, they have at least 3 years of relevant teaching experience and/or they have at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Administration and events management experience, if any. 
• Willingness to engage and mentor students both in and out of classroom. 
• Other accredited qualifications and/or experience relevant to interdisciplinary integration of artificial and human intelligences or related technologies are desirable
• Desire to pursue a career as an educator who is reflective, and is interested to engage in scholarly inquiry in teaching and learning

School of Hospitality - Senior Lecturer (Hotel & Leisure Management – Food & Beverage)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Lecturer to join our School of Hospitality, with a focus on delivering practical and industry-relevant training in Food & Beverage (F&B) Operations. This role is ideal for hospitality professionals with strong hands-on experience in restaurant, bar, or banquet operations who are passionate about developing the next generation of F&B talent.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A relevant academic qualification in hospitality, hotel management, or related fields.
• At least 5 to 8 years of industry experience in Food & Beverage Operations (e.g. restaurant, banqueting, bar, or café management) within hotels, resorts, or hospitality venues.
• Strong knowledge of front-of-house operations, service standards, and F&B systems (e.g. POS, inventory, reservations).
• Strong interest in hospitality education and a willingness to support student development both in and out of the classroom.
• Prior experience conducting training or mentoring in a hospitality setting is an advantage.

Teaching & Professional Skills:

• Ability to deliver lessons in areas such as Food & Beverage (F&B) Service or other service-centric modules.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage learners in a practical and approachable manner.
• Willingness to assist in curriculum enhancement, student assessments, and hands-on practical training.
